I'm seeing this a few years later. You did a good job on your tutorial, so clear and easy to follow. I don't think the hot glue will work though. When you put it on the mug with the hot liquid inside it will soften the glue making a mess.

Amazon!!! I just searched for 1" buttons and the 25mm buttons popped up. Which is .5".
