Im sorry about the quality of the video, Im using a pixel phone to film and KZbin reduces the quality even further when uploading , and because I'm a bit nervous when filming I noticed that I didn't lay out the pattern well, so here is the breakdown of it : the finished mug rug will be a total of 10 rows, row 1 will be in color A , row 2 will be in color B, after row 2 you will work 6 rows of color A , then follow the 6 rows with 1 row of color B, finally work your last row with color A = 10 rows

Just found your other channel, going to make some of these and the snowflakes. The woven dc looks like 2 rows of sc to me. I think my grandmother would have loved it and think I am too. I've really liked doing the stacked sc at the beginning open work with thread. I haven't done a lot of crochet in recent years and there are so many new stitches or ways of doing things plus the change in hook size that I am still getting used to. I have so many hooks that are not marked in mm some have no equal in metric. My steel hook size 14 is also marked .75 but on the conversion chart a .75 is a 13 and I've never been able to find a size 13 steel hook. I got the 14 from a tatting site and use it to join picots and add pearls to my tatting. The hook goes through the hole of the bead and I pull the picot through the bead then make the join. I used to thread pearls on size 8 sewing cotton and crochet a rope necklace. There used to be patterns for stringing the colored pearls in a certain way to get the different patterns. My favorite was a cluster of grapes. Not sure what size thread I would use now and don't have the old pattern books that I used to have.

You explain so well. I am glad I found your second channel. I stumbled upon it by chance and actually recognised your voice 😆.

You did fine. Thanks for showing the tassles. I usually skip them because they come out so wonky for me.

Thank you so much for that 🥰, and yes I agree, mine used too as well, but I was luck to have someone show me years ago ( with tassels)

I want to make these. Is there a comparable cotton yarn we could use across the pond? Love your tutorials btw
