I love this color. I might try this yarn for a beanie pattern I'll try to knit on my own.

I'm making this right now. I found chaining in the magic circle a little difficult but made the circle a little smaller and it helped 😊 I'm on row 7 right now 😁

That's a good idea to leave the hole open for a while to see your stitches better. It can be a bit hard if the circle is so tiny with that type of yarn.

What's a substitute you suggest since shawl in a ball is no longer available?

I don’t think it’s discontinued. In a quick search I found plenty of it for sale on Amazon. I’m not aware of anything with a similar ombré but anything dk weight should work.

Out of all of the yarn brands you use, what is your most favorite?

I really like Malabrigo. But lately I’ve been using a lot of cotton.

I think it's a smart idea that you leave it open after a few rounds because if you have that many stitches in one small ring, it looks really hard to see all of those stitches. I've practiced the magic ring before but I've only done with six stitches just so I could see how the magic ring worked. I assumed that it would be hard to close the ring up all the way with so many of those stitches but I'm glad you figured out a way to close it up all the way so that it wasn't so frustrating.
