I love watching what you make. I have just started making Amigarumi and already have a huge box full. I am a bit addicted . I have made a few of the mamamademinis Loveys and decided I wanted to make one of the plushies. I chose the Moxi monster and lost track with my stitches at the neck. I knew enough to figure that the 3 sc in one stitch was an increase that needed to be either the back or the front of the neck. I could not tell from the pictures where I was supposed to put these stitches and the pattern doesn’t say. I did it backwards of course! The plushies have this curved sticky out bottom that I had turned out on his front. I then pulled it out and did it backwards again !!! lol. So annoying. I have written a note on the pattern for next time now. Honestly it wasn’t intuitive for me where they should go. I love your input and thoughts on patterns. 😀

Yay!! Dragon video!! I’m with you on stating that shift stitches may be needed!! It’s such a luxury when it’s included in the pattern and it really shouldn’t be! Also, if pieces need to be sewn on the head, PLEASE include a photo of the top of the head so placement is easier to see! You picked a great selection, but I’m surprised you didn’t include Dusty or Dune Dragon from Mama Made Minis! I really like the green belly for the blue dragon. I am doing Drake and had problems with the pattern. Row 22 said crochet 24sc and 1 decrease 6 times plus 24 well you only have ,66 stitches from the last row doesn't add up unless I am reading something wrong. Please advise

I made the knot monster dragon too and had similar issues with the pattern. I used a different pattern for the wings, I couldn’t get the original wing pattern to work.

Love your you tube videos. I have made Winnie and she is beautiful. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to put the hind leg and thigh. on Winnie

Have you tried wonder crochets dragon pattern. Similar to Gilbert but a great pattern!

speaking of doing increases to shape a body, I did the Happy The Hippo (it's by 4 designers) and the increases for the body would have been on it's side for me, But thankfully I have enough crocheting knowledge to be able to make the adjustments for my tension and alter where the increases needed to go. I wouldn't recommend that pattern to beginners, as it could be different for everyone.
