I made one once that was similar to this but it had more spaces so it was pretty lacey. This one looks nice and light, but still warm. I am looking forward to making this! Love the edges!! Excellent video.

You, in my opinion, are a “top-notch” KZbinr; for crochet, one of the best. Your verbal pace and camera-work always result in an excellent learning tool; especially for visual-learners, like myself. For future reference for myself, I document a lot of your videos. I mostly crochet blankets for charity-donation: I’ll be trying this pattern soon. Please continue the “good” work.

Hi Robin, thank you so much for this pattern. I made this blanket with a very fine (silly sock) yarn mixed with a thicker off-white yarn. This stitch was perfect to show off the colour change and crochet up really quickly I'm delighted, and wanted to thank you for your KZbin videos, I'd be lost without you at this stage. This blanket has helped me take my mind off the very sad process of grieving for my mother who died mid December 2022. Her thing was knitting, my thing is crochet. She died peacefully whilst knitting with the silly sock yarn. This project was comforting, easy to do whilst my mind was elsewhere. I can highly recommend this stitch to anybody especially with thicker yarn or to use two threads like I did, who wants to just crochet to forget the pain and make a forever keepsake of the loving person who was always there in my life💔

Robin, thank goodness I found this pattern again! I was careless and "lost my notes" about this great pattern so here I go again with notes now! Thank you as always! I love the "beast" blanket you made. When will we see The Mandalorian?

Oh! Lovely ! I think I’ll trial this by making a scarf. ( if I can get the chain count right) I’ve not attempted a ripple / chevron stitch yet. ( born again beginner here) . I’ve just finished a blanket for my grandson using your wonderful bar stitch tutorial 🥰 Thank you Robin 👌😊

As always, a brilliant project and beautiful work! Just wanted to say I love your stitch markers, too. I made several myself a few months ago using those types of earring hooks and I just love them... Use them for knitting and crocheting.💜💜💜
