I was thinking of primary colors something festive maybe for fall or even Christmas​. I like what you used for the shawl. I so enjoyed your outing with the family. It was wonderful hearing the children laugh and happy. Shows that they are loved and taught to respect each other and honor their parents. I noticed when father said that they should quite down there was no argument they just did what they were told. HAPPY Belated Birthday to you and Kaveta ( probably spelled it wrong)!!! Happy belated birthday. I celebrated mine the weekend before. What a pretty poncho. I love using DK yarn because I find it lays better. However I made one with the Red heart Ombre yarn. The changes with this yarn is gorgeous. Also the new Lion Brand Cofy Cotton Blend is beautiful. It is limited in colors.

Love the poncho. I also love acrylic yarn. I like to be able to wash and dry things I make and I like to be as cruelty free as possible, so I steer clear of the animal fibers. I would make a poncho in a wheat or oatmeal colored yarn like Vanna's Choice by Lion Brand. That way it would go with everything. I can't even begin to imagine paying that kind of money to send my kids to school. I would expect quite lot at those prices. Yikes! I homeschooled my children and that worked out well for us. When my daughter was in kindergarten - half days - 17,000 USD - I lost it when she came home saying they watched a Disney movie. Whaaaaaaaaat??? $23 an hour... hour and half movie? I paid $35 for her to watch a movie?? REALLY???? Might or might not have lost my poop. ;) xx

I love your poncho!! The color way is amazing! I'm working on a poncho made from Mandala yarn and I can't wait until it's finished. I think you should make another one using sun colors like yellow, gold, orange, red, etc. What do you think??

Love the poncho and the yarn you’re using! Your road trip looked like a lot of fun. I really enjoyed all the laughter. Question...your husband wanted a photo of the funeral home? I thought that was great and then thought maybe it was a work related thing. I had to laugh because my husband’s business is headstones, benches that go alongside headstones and memorials and more. When people ask what he does I always start with a laugh and a well, he does...and explain it as best as I can because it can be such an uncomfortable topic for some. Everyone knows this is a job that is done, but they don’t necessarily know someone who does it. Anyway, I really enjoy your channel!

😍 the poncho! Do a popcorn, then a tassel, repeat for the border. It’d look so boho 😊 Ps Dayton is in Ohio. And yes those were pine trees 🌲 not eucalyptus.

I've finished 2 colors' worth of the circles (so 12 of 36 done now). As to yarn to do the poncho tutorial in, something self-striping would be nice; otherwise, perhaps something multi-colored for the body of the poncho, and then solid colors which would pick up some of the colors in the multicolored yarn for the popcorn rows and the border.
