I'm from Springfield, Ohio. Born and raised here. I was a H.H.A. (Home Health Aide) for 20 years. I had to have surgery on my back, and not allowed to work anymore. So I crochet almost 24/7. I've been crocheting since I was 16. I'm 59 now. But before you tube, all I crocheted was afghans. Now I make dresses and sweaters hats and headbands and shoes. And right now I'm making your Christmas stockings for all my grandchildren and my two daughters, and of course my husband.

Oh Christa, I just love the ride alongs with your kiddos. They are all just adorable! I'm from a little city in Virginia just outside Washington DC. Hubby of 30 yrs and I have 3 grown children and one grandson. We spend all of our time off work at our house in the mountains of beautiful West Virginia and can't wait until we can live there full time. All my projects travel well for now.

Hi Christa, Hi All, 👋 I've been subscribed for about a month or so and haven't introduced myself. I hook it up in Indiana, U.S. I've been crocheting for about 15 years. A friend taught me the Granny Square and then I purchased a teach yourself to crochet book to improve my skills. I think Grannies will always be one of my favorites. I just leveled up to 51 last Monday!!! Whoa, that sounds like a lot when you say it out loud....LOL. Age is just a number to me so I'm not freaking out about it. I'm still young at heart and I probably always will be. I love to laugh and having a good time. I love your channel and how much fun you have while sharing your love of yarn and crochet. It is really cool seeing the extra video of where you live.

I am rewatching your vlogs. I saw your cactus again. I love it! Is it your design? I don't know that I introduced myself. I am a widowed grandmother of 6 living in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania. We are about 40 miles north of Philadelphia and about 100 miles south of NYC. I help my daughter homeschool my 11 year-old grandson. I taught college English for a few years but mostly raised my kids and helped with homeschooling two grown grandchildren and tutored high school students. I also quilt and make garments. Like you I love to do all sorts of things. I never got the hang of knitting but love to crochet. I enjoy all you do. It's so much fun to look forward to some crochet friends chatting and showing what they are doing. Because of Fibromyalgia and arthritis and probably age (71), I am slower than I used to be and have to frog a lot more. It helps me when you are honest and talk about fails and frogs. I love my knifer for life bag and t-shirt. I can't wait until it is warm enough to warm the t-shirt. Have 4 layers of clothes on with long underwear. I also have a mini cat rescue. Stray cats and pregnant moms show up at my door. What can I do but invite them in. Only three live indoors. The rest have heated houses outside and prefer the carefree life. I live going up a small mountain on over an acre with only a few neighbors so they have lots of places to roam. I have traveled all over the world but not to Kenya. My husband was in the Rift Valley for a work mission project. I wish you many blessings and see you Friday.

But I lived 10 years in Tennessee, US moved back to Illinois for about 6-7 years then moved to Louisiana, US for a year. We are back in Illinois but hoping to get an RV to go road tripping to see the states. I'm thinking of doing my own podcast but need to get a new computer. Yay! I guessed right on Instagram! It is a table runner 🏃! It is lovely. I have had a lot of luck steam blocking. It’s my favorite was especially with acrylic. A lot of pinning for that but totally worth it when you’re done. ☺️. I use a steamer not my iron.

Hi Christa, I'm Vera, I'm 54 and I have 4 girls, I live in Bangkok but I'm Dutch and the last 10 years we have lived in Thailand. Haha traffic in Kenia is worse then Bangkok I think.. but I have a motorbike so I'm never stuck in traffic

OMG! You make me giggle! Luv ya! Your nails are fine! Mine nails are fine but my hands are covered in bandaids right now. The cold weather is making my skin spontaneously crack and bleed. But thanks for showing yours
