I'm almost 57 and I want to learn to knit. I could always cast on and do most of the first row as a kid and then the whole thing would fall apart so I gave up. The grandma who was teaching me was the grandma I saw the least so I stuck with crochet as that's what people I was around knew how to do. Seeing your comment makes me think maybe I can still learn.
