Shout out from the USA. Thank you Bella Coco, your tutorials are very helpful. It helps me too improve my crochet stitches. I have not crocheted in 7 yrs., as my skills have become "rusty." Your British english is very good. I like your accent.

Wow! This is so easy! I tried another technique to get straight edges and found it confusing and more difficult. I'm self taught in both crochet & knitting, and haven't created anything very difficult in either one. Even so, after 4+ decades of making relatively simple projects, I can finally add this finishing touch to any future crochet project I decide to make. As long as I remembered to translate the English to American terminology, it was smooth sailing. Thank you so much for this video! I look forward to discovering what else I can learn from your repertoire of knowledge.

I'm currently working on a set of placemats using this stitch. The first one I completed last night. Yes, it had a messy look to it (gaps and lumpy edges). I ended up putting a simple border around it. I will definitely use this new tip/technique with the others! Thank you so much! ❤

Thank you so much Sarah-Jayne!!! I know this video has been posted almost a year ago but it helped me quite a bit on an ear warmer/headband I am working on right now! It is the first project I have crocheted using a pattern (all of my other projects have been recreations of what you have made in your videos). I was confused when I found gaps on the ends of my rows of treble crochet but using this technique, they are gone!
