Tips!!: You must be an advanced beginner to do this project. 😉 If you don’t have stitch markers, you can use paper clips! 👍 You can use play-back speed in your settings, to slow down the video or speed it up! 😲 This is recommended to be crocheted with thick (plush/velvet/fluffy) yarn. If you do not own any of that type of yarn, you can try to use thin yarn, but it will be quite difficult. 😬 Always make sure you have the right sized hook to match the thickness of your yarn! 👍 Remember, you learn from your mistakes. These tips will help you have less mistakes. Make life enjoyable. 🥰 Before you try crocheting this turtle, be sure you know how to make a chain, do a slip knot, and magic ring. 😉 You should maybe try crocheting something simpler, like a 2D heart! She should've showed this BEFORE closing the head not installing it at the end. It's confusing for brand new beginners. This would be an advanced beginner to find the "common sense" on where the eyes go or intermediate. She could've showed in her video

Only have one gripe and its that it wasnt instructed to add the eyes during the head creation process, a beginner may not realize that would need to be done then, other than that this is a great beginners pattern and works up quickly. Good practice for those learning the magic circle.

I used chenille yarn. A type of domestic Chinese yarn, I don't know the brand name. This yarn is quite easy to crochet, fast and soft. Suitable for those who like to crochet large stuffed amigurumi Good luck 🍀🍀🍀

What kind of eyes do you use? The Amigurimi safety eyes I have can’t easily be put on after you’ve already sewn the neck closed. I’d have to finish the head/neck, then attach the eyes, then sew the neck closed. (And then later I’d attach the head to the shell just like you did in the tutorial). It’d be nice to be able to put on eyes without needing access to the inside of the work to secure the eyes.
