I added some little feet to my darling duck, to make him sit better. This is what I did: Row 1: with orange yarn, ch 3. Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in the end ch, ch1, turn. Row 2: Inc in first sc, SC in next, ch 1, turn. Row 3: in first sc, sl, ch2, sl in same stitch (this makes a "toe"). Repeat the sl, ch 2., sl in each of the next two sc. End off. Sew the feet onto rnd 15 of the duck's body and sew in ends. I would show a picture of the feet on my duck, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that.

So no need for sewing, that worked for my since I don’t have a large enough need for yarn. Thanks again for your tip.

For anyone struggling with row 3 like how I was: You’re alternating increasing and regular single crochets. On the first crochet of row 3, you’re working in one single crochet, next one, two single crochets, next one, one single crochet, next one, two single crochets, etc.

This is actually some of my first few projects! It turned out to be great! Though i was using milk yarn so it looked like an elephant stomped on it. Lol! Great tutorial anyway!🎉🎉

thanks for sharing this pattern! love the fact it's no sew, as I have no yarn needle around. a tip for those who want a flatter base, I did all the stitches in row 15 in the back loops only (yes even the decreases!) it helps the yarn to angle 'inwards' making a nice flat edge along the bottom. from row 16 onwards I worked the yarn as normal.
