Ah! I wish this was up last week. I just made 4 scarves and hats for a friends sisters. I used your heart hat pattern just without the heart and it wasn't as easy as I thought. First off, I'm still wondering why in the first row she started off with half double crochets then suddenly they are singles with no mention then I went to the queen pattern and there is no mention of using singles in those first rows!!

Hey Sirin, another absolutely beautiful and well explained pattern!! thanks a million! I was wondering, is there anyway we can adjust this pattern and resize it for an adult male and child too? I'm assuming since the initial st count is 72, we're are doing this in multiples of 12 perhaps? so for an adult male we increase by 12 (72+12) and for a child we decrease 12 or more (72-12) ? Looking forward to your response :) Thanks xx

Hi, l started 40 and put 3 double crochet between 2, 40*3 and of the line 1 l have 120 double crochet,you start 48 and how did you end up 72-73 double crochet,l did t get could you pls explain for me?thanks

I think I can explain. You aren’t putting 3 stitches every row - you are putting 3 stitches in every two rows. You should end up with 60 stitches if you started with 40 rows.

Gorgeous but hard to follow video. You're doing the stitches quickly without slowly down to show where the stitches go. I'll keep trying. I make hats for the Salvation Army and the kids would love this pattern.
