I'm crocheting granny squares to make a blanket - my idea is that by making this blanket, I'll manifest an accepted offer on a house, so that I can move in and display my completed blanket! I turn 30 years old this year. I feel so confident and comfortable in myself. More so than when I was in my early 20s. My father passed at 27 and I always saw that as old until I hit my mid 20s and realized how young he truly was. I’m always thankful for the years I have now

congrats on the move! i'm currently knitting my first sweater vest (it's pink!). pretty much every change in my life has been something that my mind and body both team up to fight against so i completely understand the resistance. after my first apartment became an almost biohazardous mess, i found that having timed reminders on my phone really helped kick me into gear and doing the chores that i hate the most, especially the regularly occuring ones. i'm currently hoping it'll help establish a routine for working out, here's to hoping!

Happy late birthday I just celebrated my 22nd on the 11th I’m also 22 weeks pregnant and so happy because I didn’t think I’d make it to 18 let alone 22 I’ve always struggled with mental health and borderline personality disorder and trauma life is still a struggle but I’m happy to say it does get better if anyone is struggling I want them to know that. I just recently found your channel I’ve been watching your videos while making my first amigurumi project I’m making a little strawberry triceratops:)

Change... yes hard! My husband was a travelling field mechanic for years, he would move every 6 mo or so. We have a permanent home in my hometown and I would go back and forth to visit him. Being the one who does all the shopping, it was so hard sometimes to find all the new places to go. I learned that quickly that I can survive well with only a grocery store, Target, JoAnns, and Starbucks! 😅 He now got promoted so we are settling into a new community in SE WI, and its PERMANENT! I'm loving it. My youngest will graduate this next year so I will still go back and forth, but now we can start to put down roots here. It is so hard though to be in a community in which you know very few people, as an introvert. I LOVE your crochet and chats, thank you for taking the time to connect with all of us and share your journey. I can't wait to hear what you have planned for October!

Congratulations on the house! We bought our first home about two years ago and no lie, sometimes it has me wishing I could still call the maintenance man...but it's worth it all when you can settle at night in something that is your own :) I love your crochet and chats and I'm so glad you plan to continue them! My poor Dad had to have a liver biopsy on his birthday yesterday and all the registration staff and nurses wished him a happy birthday. Probably the crummiest way to spend a birthday but he managed to make all the nurses smile and was the best patient. I also struggle with change and I’m dreading the year ahead but I know that God has this and His plan is most important. When I let go of trying to control things, is when I feel the most peace. 🕊 The sunflowers field sounds amazing. I would love to see video of your day in the field of sunshine. Sunflowers always look towards the sun and help purify the soil which is why they’re the official flower of Ukraine and were planted to help purify the soil around Chernobyl. I agree that my mid twenties flew by. I got married at 24 and pregnant at 30 so I remember my mid-twenties as a fun time of living the DINK lifestyle working and traveling. Life speeds up the older we get so it’s so important to take the time to seize the day, unplug, and appreciate the everyday little joys of life. A cool breeze on a hot day, birds and animal sightings on walks, sunrises, sunsets, rainbows, flowers, light reflecting on water, the sounds of children laughing, crochet time, making and giving things to those we love and strangers, random acts of kindness, and the simple acts of smiling, observing, listening, and being thankful for all the blessings we have each day. ❤

You have such a great attitude towards getting older - I turned 30 this past January and I really struggled with the idea of it at first, especially because I hadn't really hit some of the milestones that I thought I would have like having a steady relationship and kids, etc, but I realized pretty quickly that it's really not a big deal. We’re currently doing kitchen renovations which has made me want to make anything and everything crochet for a kitchen. I am still working on the throw. I find change difficult too, especially moving which gives me horrible anxiety and nausea. I always remind myself that it goes away within a week of moving. I'm so sorry that you've lost friends so young. This week was my first taste of that. He was severely chonically ill and passed at 38 years old. We hadn't seen each other in a few years, but it still hit me , and I mourned. I'm 31 this year, and I completely get what you mean! While the in-between birthdays can feel odd, i really feel that life got so much better after 24! I'm a chill birthday person for myself, but I love going all out for my friends' birthdays (if they'll let me 😅). Also, my youngest son is a Leo! So happy birth month!!! ❤❤🎉 How is Finn coping with the move!? Hi Dana! Oh my goodness, I really dislike change. Unfortunately things change all the time, so I always say “don’t get too comfortable, because it will change.” lol Exercise is always a great way to start the day! 😊 I love exercise and I workout with a personal trainer 3 days per week and then on my own 3 days per week. One day of rest. It’s the best part of my day. 😊😊🥰 I’m currently working on my plushie orders and also have three blankets going. 🧶 😊 I will be turning 60 this October. 🎃 The only age that ever bothered me was turning 25. Isn’t that silly! Haha. I can’t wait to see what you’re making and look forward to all the upcoming videos! Enjoy your day! 🥰

Getting back to my morning walks has been lovely , I usually don’t get to my workout until 4 pm with my husband. We are very into lifting 5x a week but this walk in the morning has been very helpful for me to add! You’ve got a lot of projects going on , I’m sure they are all lovely!! I love the crochet and chat vids, I’m working on granny squares bc I’m following your granny square bag tutorial! I would say definitely try to stick to a cotton yarn for wearables (when you can afford to) but for winter items you can definitely get away with acrylic yarns!! I’ve never made a cardigan for winter before so sadly I do not have any recommendations but I would just KZbin it to follow a video tutorial would be helpful! My fav acrylic for clothes is lion brand pound of love. Incredibly soft and affordable!!

Hi! My husband and I have talked about going to the beach for some time now, but we just got a beach umbrella (finally) and so I grabbed some cotton yarn out of stash and started a beach coverup. Unfortunately, my husband just told me day before yesterday that he wants to go Saturday and I am not done with this, so I may end up going without it, but so be it. I know I'm late, but Happy Birthday!! Lol. I have always dreaded getting older, I have never felt like I have my life in order, or I haven't met goals that I feel like I should have by now (getting married, having children, being financially stable, finishing vet school) and I'm disappointing not only myself but others. But in January 2025 I am officially turning 30, and I was not happy about it in the slightest, this year I cried over the end of my 20s, so my bf surprised me and told me he had booked a Disney World trip for my 30th and somehow that has made it at least a little more manageable lol. I don't feel like an adult, but yet somehow also feel so old, it's a process getting used to being this age, because like you said "I've never been this old before" so I'm not entirely sure what to expect, but I know that 30 isn't nearly as old as I feel it is lol.

I've been struggling this week. My license plate was stolen off my car. Probably cause it has new stickers on it. But yesterday I got up to all the icons missing off my computer.
