what material yarn is that? and what hook size did you use for the first blanket?🥹

I used a 6mm and acrylic Caron One yarn and I think some lion brand 1lb yarn too ☺️

How do you know how many small granny squares to make to add on? That’s what I need to find out.

I just made a lot, then started to line them up along the blanket, once you get enough for both sides just multiply by 2😊 it’s really a guess and check. You can also count the stitches on the final row and divide by 2 that should give you a close estimate !
