I love your giant blanket and am bowled over by the commitment this took. Stardew Valley is definitely a comfort game, though I'm a little bitter that Maru said farming is easy. Taking care of plants is hard work! 😆 You made such an amazing blanket. And in your first year of crocheting! I'm from Southern California where the temperature doesn't vary as much as your area, so it was cool to see the extremes of 90+ degrees in the summer and down to almost freezing during the colder months. Looking forward to more of your yarny adventures! 🧶

I make blankets for the children’s hospital here where I use to work out of soft classic using that poop brown hook. It’s my favourite. I often wonder could they not have been black at least 😊 wow 🤯 that’s quite a blanket 😊

Wow! That is quite an accomplishment! I did 4 temperature blankets, one for each season. They were each big-so yours is really big, but very, very awesome!! It feels good to be done, doesn’t it!?! Not doing one this year😎. Happy New Year. I like using economical yarn for blankets for easy maintenance-washer/dryer friendly. I love natural fiber too for other projects (wearables). Yuk-New Years Eve in Times Square doesn’t sound like much fun. Better to sit at home, crochet and enjoy good company😍🥳 I just love the world’s biggest 2024 Temperature Blanket!😍🥳❤️

I planned out my 2025 temperature blanket in November and was sooo excited to start. I, too, am sick of my 2024 colors and want something new. I also decided to tee up a book blanket of my 2020 reading list as a new project. This is not my idea, but the premise is to crochet one granny square per book using the colors of the book jackets as the inspiration for the rounds. One thing that excites me about this project is the fact I have the whole list of books already and can crochet as fast as I want instead of waiting each day for the temperature to be recorded.

November and April are my favorite squares in your blanket rug 😍 your crochet room wakes up the kid in me, I would love grabbing a few fluffy couch cushions and lie down and read a Harry Potter book with a cup of hot cocoa or linden tree tea. I’m the exact opposite. I love the dark cold winters and dread bright hot summer, I crochet more during the summer as a way to make the days go by faster. I’ll be 40 in feb and I love animal crossing, stardew valley and so many more, the 2 games I am currently playing are Infinitely Nikki which has been cute and fun and V Rising with my husband, I’m building a giant castle and massive flower garden in V as a vampire archer :D Working on a CtoC blanket with the giant purple version of the Caron anniversary yarn. Also I’m n Michigan, and how ridiculous is it that it’s raining on New Year’s.

My Clover amour hooks are my all time go to hooks too :) although I do love Furls ebony wood and resin hooks but I only use them with specific yarns whereas Clovers go with everything with no problems :) and it's not a poop brown come on 😄it's chocolate brown 😅 however I do wish Clover would make hooks with their quality but Furls' looks ahaha that would be perfection !

Amazing!!! Wow wow wow! I can’t even imagine how heavy that must be. I made a temperature blanket like this for each month, but I used DK (3 weight) yarn and a 4mm hook. My blanket was big, but nothing near the size yours is. You should be proud of yourself for sticking to this all year long. I think the November square is my favourite, but all of the months are so pretty. Well done Nick!! I laughed out loud when you said there isn’t a washing machine big enough!🤣🤣
