You could make your aunt's round placemat's last round could be worked with alternating red and dark green scallops instead. Hopefully that would allow you to stretch the red to the end. That way you wouldn't have to worry about color lots not matching too.

@rosateresacastro-vargas8592 thank-you. We don't live in an area of markets, so to speak. We're very rural and have two definite vendor events. The first is the first week in August in a local park on our "main street". One needs their own tent, tables, and such and is the full weekend. The other, the one I participated in, is a Christmas themed event in our local convention center with 6' tables provided. I'm also a sewist, quilter, and machine embroidery person. The wheels are sure turning for next year!

A bit of info...Knit pro (UK) needles come in 2 lengths. If you have the 16" (40cm) and 10" (25cm) length cables, the needles are shorter to allow you to get them to meet for circular knitting. If they were longer, they wouldn't meet. Bare this in mind if you purchase the interchangeable kind. Also, the white printed size on the needle wears off! You're lucky it's stamped on the metal too, as mine in the UK aren't, which is very annoying 😏 Maybe that's something new, my set is quite old now. 🎄I'm loving vlogmas by the way 😊 🧶

for the circulars without a size printed on them, if they're not interchangeable it's possible that they've got the size printed onto the cord somewhere! I have some like that.

I have the KnitPro Tunisian crochet hooks with this coloured wood (here they are called Symfonie) and they are my absolute favourite crochet hooks ever. So smooth but with a really grabby hook end. I use them for regular crochet as well, not only Tunisian. (I did buy them for Tunisian crochet - if you don’t do that at all, they’re probably not worth it.)

That table mat pattern is really pretty. Going to save the tutorial to make some plate mats for daily use... and maybe so holiday colored ones to interchange through the year. PS. The gunk on the scissors is from the packing tape. Since they're already gunky you can designate them for that purpose doing forward so you can save the rest from that fate. 😂😂😂
