Suggestion; add water to the jar and shake up to get most of the sauce out first before adding it to the crockpot.🤔

The Slow Cooker is my favourite Kitchen cooking appliance, however I live alone and I don't believe I could freeze this in portions so I will have to look for a different way to enjoy this. But first, buy your child some chain-mail gloves before you give then the cheese to grate. Plus they are fun to wear, they will thank you and not want to take them off.

why wouldn't you clean out your sauce jars? At the very least rinse with the water used.

Yes you can. We just didn't because we were shooting a video and didn't think about it.
