One of my favorite lines from Crockett is in the flashback of him leaving Vietnam and the soldier is shooting the combat dogs. Sonny asks him why they are killing the dogs, and the soldier answers that the orders say the dogs are too dangerous to go home. Sonny replies "If that's the case then when you get done with the dogs somebody should shoot me, and then they should shoot the guy that shot me too." 🤌🤌🤌

Definitely a shining example of how dark and gritty Season 3 turned out to be, and this was before everything came to a head when Zito was killed off in Down For The Count (Part 1)

@kristinakellogg1732 especially with Crockett's meltdown following his promises to Archie being destroyed by Walker. And this moment is one of the many few moments where we get to see Don act with raw emotional conviction.

MV Trivia: Crockett tells Archie that he ran back a 95-yard touchdown in the Gator Bowl. This is a callback to the pilot, where Tubbs recognizes Crockett as James "Sonny" Crockett, former University of Florida star wide receiver who won the Heisman Trophy. Other than keeping Elvis, the in-universe University of Florida football team's mascot, as a pet, Crockett's football career is rarely mentioned in the show.

Love Miami Vice,Great TV back in 1984 to 1990 ❤️R I P Gregory Sierra as Lou Rodriguez 1937-2021 at 83 years.Edward James Olmos was memorable as Lieutenant Martin Castillo a Tough No Nonsense character ,His Stare ,His Looks were enough to tell anyone to Step off or Stand down .Great Acting by both to Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas as James Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs .Love the other characters also to Early appearances from big stars also who guest starred in this like Bruce Willis(Die Hard movies) and Julian Beck(Poltergeist 2 the other side)Who died in 1985 before he saw it premiere to name a few like Ving Rhames(Mission impossible)❤

Florida uses SAOs. In 2024 there are 20 elected states attys. 67 elected sheriffs. I had a 2023 felony incident with a total scumbag, 1A auditor at a FEMA office. The ASA ⚖️ was like this prosecutor. 0 ethics, didn't care.

When Sonny finds Archie in the limo dead, he has a meltdown. Most likely it's due to the similar events that happened in season 1's "Milk Run". In that episode, Eddie Rivers was also a young man caught up in drugs. Like Archie, Sonny gave Eddie his word that a deal will be given for his cooperation, only for his word to go unfulfilled because of Eddie's death.

Orlando FL had a popular Jai Lai spot for years. Some of the players, games were rigged, scams so the state, FDLE closed it. Orlando like Miami had greyhound races too. Those closed early 2010s due to animal rights, abuse complaints.

I remember watching this when it first aired. It was a good episode and a heart breaker {Spoiler Alert}... The kid agrees to wear the wire and is in the limo with Walker. The wire is found and the kid is killed by Walker. I remember shouting "NO!" at the TV when that happened. Totally caught me by surprise. And Sonny was heart broken because the kid who died was a Football Receiver like him and Sonny was trying to get him into University of Florida to play, like he did. Sonny was devastated.

Chrissie Hynde got a lot of flak from this song. Some of the lyrics even I'M not fond of. But she was talking about the difference between "millions of kids" following a pop star hawking soda and the fact that someone like Jimi Hendrix would have given those same kids something more substantial. Just saying.🙃🙃

If Baldilocks was from the DA's office, that scene was laughable. The district attorney's office doesn't take marching orders from the po-po when it comes to deciding who to prosecute, for what crimes, and when. It's certainly a partnership, but the cops aren't the managing partner in those matters.

Too much collateral damage in this episode with Archie and Count Walker as he was not qualifies to go undercover to bring down an experienced drug dealer that read through him the entire time and noticed how nervous he was. People blame the DA for getting Archie killed but go back to the beginning, Archie got mixed up in the rackets and compromised his safety and paid the ultimate price. Drugs is a terrible thing that creates collateral damage.
