I found this on YT and made it today(I meal prep for the next week's meals and was looking for crockpot chicken recipes.) It turned out very good, thank you for the recipe Melanie. It's got a little zest with the pepper flakes but overall I will definitely make it again.

Hi BD CF! Thanks for watching! This recipe came from an old cookbook. The reason it is named "bourbon" chicken is from where the recipe came from..Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Sorry if it was misleading for you, although it may taste pretty good with some bourbon added in! Enjoy your day!

There isn't any bourbon in the recipe. It is from an old book of recipes from New Orleans! I guess you could add some bourbon though!! Maybe I'll try that sometime! LOL

Do you think you'd need to double the ingredients for 8 thighs, or would your recipe still be enough? PS.... I'm glad no Bourbon was involved, because I've never bought any, and sure wasn't going to for one recipe 😄
