... also: I will never not love how clearly you emphasize What, When, Why, How, et cetera, animals you have adopted for the sake of humaneness - as opposed to profit, whimsy, seeking attention, collecting... Clover and Okala: Do we go swimming in the pool? If possible, I wonder if the emus could try out the pool before Stallone takes up residence, just to see what they would do in deeper water, since they're so fond of the pond. Does Amy know her name yet? She didn't seem to respond when called. I think she did learn something from observing the adult pigs, when she came back, she was half sitting without being prompted. Looks to me like she's learning from food motivation, she scavenged a bit of food while the adults were being fed. I am curious if feeding the coatis near their hides will reinforce that behavior and they won't want to go to the lockouts if they think the food bowls will come to them if they just stay there.
@GatorChris_13 күн бұрын
I don’t think the emus would be able to get back out with the straight walls. Amy doesn’t know her name, we haven’t tried teaching their names yet. And I was thinking that might happen for the coatis, but they’re generally very exploratory so I don’t think it will
