Your trackwork and signalling is superb. Very nice layout indeed.

I like the speed you run your engines, much more realistic than others I have seen.

You’re attention to detail is a amazing loved the nighttime scenes inside the shed and the shining rails looking towards the station I have no railway but build models of LNWR prototypes this must be one of the most accurate reproductions i have ever seen absolutely superb model thanks Les

I have thought for those close up cab shots a bit of movement from the cab crew would look good. This could be achieved by mounting the crew on some thin sponge rubber or dry mounting the figures by drilling a hole in one leg and supergluing a smaller diameter piece of piano wire in the cab floor so the figures can wobble.Just a thought. A truly magnificent and evocative layout you have constructed. Your weathering is peerless.

Thanks Bill, yeah the eye overlooks model figure frozen motion in real life but it sticks out like a sore thumb in a movie.

love to her you mention all the places connected with the railway, i walk the route going up to plodder lane nearly every day, its a footpath now of course.

It would be good but it would probably fill a video all of its own and I'd need to learn a lot more about local history. Fascinating though. ATB

There is nothing nicer than settling down with a cup of tea and watching the trains come and go at Crook Street. Was the 0-6-0 tender engine at the beginning a Ramsbottom DX? I do like the Deansgate yard and I hope we shall see more of it. I love all the North Western rolling stock, and I particularly like the Cheshire Lines coaches. Your films are beautifully put together, and I look forward to the next one.

Thanks Roderic, the 0-6-0 is a Webb Coal Engine, his first design independent of Ramsbottom, the DXs had larger wheels 5'2". ATB

I saw a video, very current, and it seems that the CLC,is very much alive,in some out of the way areas! George Dow,would be proud, that there are still places, where the old MS&L/GCR are still operating! Mr. Dow,wrote a 3 volume history of the GCR,and its worth reading,as that company had more joint operations with practically everybody that you could think of,including the LNWR,MR,GNR,GWR,L&Y,and even were involved with the Channel Tunnel! Ah,history, and Crook Street, just barely touches on the outer fringes! Thank you for your attention ☺️! Thank you 😇 😊!!

Hi Robert, yeah the CLC was fascinating. From a modelling perspective, it provides an excuse to run all sorts of different trains.

They're Modelu figures, they're scans of real people so they're really good, bit pricey though.

The Wigan Coal and Iron Company: an industrial giant, in its day. The fused slag from its blast furnaces still lies on the reclaimed site of the works.

Thanks Coniston, I guess that would be Ince Iron Works? Fine hill in your channel name!
