Joss Wheaton actually didn't want to write for tv. He wanted to make movies, but it wasn't working out. So, he had to move back in with his parents. While living with his parents, his Dad talked him into start writing tv scripts just to make money to be able to move out of his parents house.

All of Crooked Media is very LA-centric. They don't do rescue dogs. They have money and they live around money. It's a different world. More and more, their content feels detached from the experiences of everyday followers / voters, and I think it speaks to a larger problem with the Democratic party. I find myself wanting to listen to Crooked Media content less and less, over the last few months.
