Love the backyard setup! It's so sweet that Pundit gets to hang out on the couch and get pets from the guests, I'm used to just seeing him winding around the guys' ankles in the studio

Marcy girl, it's possible to live a life without shoelaces. I haven't had to tie shoes in years. Skechers has so many options of lace-less shoes that look like they have laces and I have all of them. I'm always either wearing those, sandals, or boots with zippers. Make a stand. Don't tie laces ever again.

When I saw "Shangela All Stars" I said to myself, "I hope to God this is about the grave misjustice of All Stars 3!" I still get mad about this! It's the only episode of drag race I've never seen because it was spoiled via Instagram and I was too upset to watch the episode!

Okay, here's the thing about Drag Race AS3 that I can't get out of my head: Dela and Shangela were absolutely being set up to be the final two, because they were killing it. I think production didn't know what the fuck to do when Dela left on her own and the jury was sort of a way to get around that. Also, Thorgy has said she voted for Shangela to continue. She was the ONLY ONE, and I'm curious to know why.

God, I hate the concept of drag race. Though I admit I haven't watched an episode. Just a deep part of me is like, I reconise the history of Drag and how it opened things up for transgender people, at the same time it seems like a bunch of (mostly) gay men acting like the worst stereotypes of women and clowning about for (mostly) straight people's entertainment.
@rosepetal342 жыл бұрын
Lot of assumptions given that you haven’t actually watched it / the U.K. one sparked a national conversation about being non binary, also the last sentence just sounds like terf logic honestly / women do drag / men do drag/ non binary people, all genders
@wynnefox2 жыл бұрын
@@rosepetal34 I mean. I've transtioned 20 years ago. Anyways, yeah, I am making some assumptions from what I have seen on trailers and clips and when I hear people talk about it. If I am getting my assumptions from those things, others maybe pulling those together to.
@zoec87962 жыл бұрын
I've been a fan of drag since I was a teenager, long before Drag Race was a thing. The cis gay men I've known who perform it are not mocking or clowning, but challenging the stereotypes they've had thrown at them since childhood. Their attitude is "you think calling me a girl/woman is an insult? Watch me turn that on its head". I'm not saying that there are no misogynists within the drag community, simply that there are a LOT more who embrace 'femininity' as something powerful and use drag to showcase that part of themselves. I can only speak for drag in the UK, and understand that it's quite different in the US. But I think it's worth exploring the art form on a local level and maybe getting to know some queens (and kings!) beyond what Drag Race highlights.
