I bought one of these liked the reload action, however I do have a Gamo Replay Gen 1. As I wanted to use it for hunting Could not drop a Guineafowl with the Crossman but could be the pellets I was using as could not use the hunting pellets The Crossman cannot accept all pellets, set it in with no problems then put in Gamo hunting pellets, first one broke the magazine, so now I was down to a 9 shot magazine. I bought the Gamo about 2,5 years before getting the Crossman, I have taken the Crossman out once with the Gamo. They are both stored in bags right next to each other. As I was told by the Crossman dealer it would take 6 weeks to check and or fix the magazine and I had to hand in the rifle at the same time, I waited until magazines became available as they seem to be scarce. Finally go the magazines, pulled out the Crossman and its rusted, pulled out the Gamo and nothing wrong like the day I got it out of the box. Busy dealing with the Crossman dealers as I cannot accept pitted rust let’s see what they do. Hope this helps for anyone thinking of buying one of these.

I'm with you on the safety catch daft place to put it , i had a mate who had a gamo swarm similar to this ,magazine fed brake barrel and it spat pellets all over the place, this one you have seems quite nice accurate and doesn't look to bad , good video, 😁👍

It seams a good rifle for the price and multi-shot system. Would have been helpful to know the decibels of the built in silencer, though it did seam quite quiet on the footage.

To be honest, it wasn't THAT loud, just louder than I'd expect a PCP with an external silencer. But very usable in the garden or for pest control at medium range,. Thanks for watching.

I have the Mag-fire Ultra which is exactly the same rifle, just in a Montecarlo stock. With regard to your question - be careful not to attempt loading extra length pellets. I tried H & N Hornets and while they seemed to go in the mag fine, it jammed halfway between two pellets & the metal probe sheered one of the plastic "teeth" clean off. Other than that issue (my own fault) I'm really happy with it. You can use longer pellets, but load them manually without the magazine - quite a tricky job to get them in there....maybe impossible if you have large fingers 😉

Hi Richard. Nice looking and accurate, but it sounded a bit noisy? Would love to see that with a slightly shorter barrel, 1/2" UNF and a steel silencer for £299 without the Mickey Mouse scope. I reckon there's potential for a serious rifle in there ! ATB mmMD

Hi Keith. The recording equipment might have made it sound louder than it really is. There's no mechanical noise as there's no spring, making it less noisy than most springers, but I agree that a decent silencer would probably work better than the barrel shroud. As you say though, good value for money. Have a great Christmas.

😟With the magazine counter showing the ! inside a triangle icon, start putting pellets into the magazine. Put pellets in, rotating the magazine clockwise to expose a new chamber. When you have put 10 pellets in, leave the last chamber empty. Good luck!

Tell me how many shots did it take you to break it in? I'm over 300 already and it's still ALL over the place. Loctited stock screws...not sure what's up with this thing.

Hi. Have you cleaned the barrel? You might also want to try out different brands of pellets too. I did both straight out of the box and got the results you see in the vid. What distance are you shooting over? It's worth starting off at a fairly modest 15 metres and working your way up from there rather than leaping straight into 30 metres targets. I hope it fixes things for you...

I do target shooting in hunting rifle & pistol and started shooting air rifles on the range as well. I have a GAMO .177 and decided to go to 5.5mm for the wind factor and bought myself a Crosman Mag Fire Mission .22cal end of March at Blades&Triger in Canalwalk Cape Town. I have tested various pellet weights & different makes without any success. This is easily the worst gun I ever shot regarding grouping & the 10 shot magazine worked for only the first 40-60 shots and then certain ''slots'' on the magazine started to refuse taking a pellet. The trigger is horrible although it's adjustable according to the reviews but you can turn that screw any way and the trigger is still hard and harsh. I even fitted a hunting rifle scope to this gun and still no way to get a grouping. Maybe I bought a dud or a Monday morning gun but really this was a waste of money.

Sorry to hear that Sakkie. All we can do is talk to the rifle in front of us and as you can see from the video, it performed pretty well. What power ft. lbs/J is your rifle and what distance are you shooting over?

My magazine jammed up after about 100 shots and is completely broken and unusable now. I'm also only getting 8.10 ft-lb out of mine which is pretty poor.

@@alphamilitaria2756 Not yet as this just happened today, so will take it back some time this week. I've also checked online to see if there are any UK Crosman Service Stations and the closest shown on the Crosman website is in Canada. Don't suppose you know of any Crosman repairs in the UK?

@@alphamilitaria2756 Thought I'd give an update on my Crosman Mission issues. Due to the magazine jamming up which was cause due to the magazine having either not fully rotated to the next pellet or had rotated to far which had left the plastic part of the magazine which is hosed between each pellet was left situated in line of fire, which cause the hammer to smash through the plastic and shoot it out of the barrel. Thus completely smashed the magazine. That the gas ram piston was also only producing 8 to 9 FPE foot pounds of energy. Therefore I took the rifle back to my supplier on 03 January 2023 to have it sent back for repairs. I chased this up this week and discovered Crosman can no longer supply new gas ram pistons for this model of rifle, which I find odd given the rifles are a recent model. So I'm now waiting on a refund.

I bought mine with Premium domed pellets...I wasn't impressed with the build quality (cheap-feeling plastic, rusty screw) and it is NOT comfortable. I would take it back if I could. Was it originally made in China?

Just suscribed… nice channel brother.. this rifle is only $160 on Amazon in America.. I have a umarex Syris break barrel single shot I got from Amazon for $92 bucks with a gas nitro piston … 850 fps… good for pest control. It comes in at a whopping 26 ft pounds of energy.

There seems to be alot of multishot springers/np's available, but which one would you really choose? I'm looking to do some plinking and general target shooting with either a springer or np. More about the fun side of the sport?

Certainly a multi-shot springer like the Mission or one of the Gamo rifles gets close to the best of both worlds...
