You just commented a DOT violation by putting the snap Binder over the strap without any protection. And those 2" of Binder handle sticking out of the trailer is considered OD which it fall into another violation oversize. Binder should be on top of load. Safe drivering 🤙👍

94 degrees in long sleeves. That might be smart. When I am in Laredo Texas and it is 104 degrees the Mexicans wear long pants, flannel shirts and masks over their faces. Pretty sure they know more about the heat than me.

Just wondering bro, how come you didn't wrap the extra chain around the snap binder for extra protection? Just asking as that is how they thought me at Roehl

Only because there was only a little bit of chain left. Sometimes I do wrap it. It all depends on the load. Good question though EZ! 👊🏼

They placed the dunnage. This is how they ship the load. Dunnage in the middle would have the plates sitting flat (easier to slide forward. The dunnage on each end helped to prevent forward or backward movement.

I’d be a liar if I told you I was sure that it isn’t. If you are going to tell me that it is please direct me to the location and the number of the law that states that it is. I’m not perfect. I’ll say this though, my load ain’t going nowhere. Never had a load claim or a load shift. I got to be doing something right. Great question. Appreciate it. Let me know what you find. Please.

The hell kinda place loads a flatbed with their product and then says “oh nonono you can’t strap it down here”. Like for real. I would prefer that you strap everything down THEN move so as to not risk property damage or worse. But i guess not all companies have common sense or care for anything besides money (:

@choicemas Technically, no securment is allowed past the rub rail when at all possible. The straps could get cut if you are sides swiped by another driver, for example, same with the binder handles. I always put the binders on top of the steel when doing an X chain myself.
