I'm new to wire working & this is my first wire bracelet. It is much easier than it looks! However, i finished mine a little differently--no clasp. I made wrapped loops on each end that connect with each other to make a bangle. Also made matching earrings using 3 beads on each earring. Thank you!!

I love your tutorials. How do you determine how many beads to use to fit your wrist?
@ingridsaab54134 жыл бұрын
First, measure your wrist, then choose how snug you want the bracelet. Measure again and add the extra space of how snug and loose you want it. Then measure your beads and clasps and you should be able to know how long it needs to be. There's a part on her video that explains when you can add or take out beads if it's too long

What brand of wire do you use? Where do you get it? It is the largest I've seen! This is a beautiful bracelet!
@CSLdesigns10 жыл бұрын
Thank you. They are 100m reels, and I buy my wire from www.jewellerymaker.com. I think it is really nice quality and good value. It is really nice to have large reels when you do a lot of wirework, so there's less chance of running out. I hope that was helpful.
@KittyCatFurbabiesMaria19729 жыл бұрын
The silver coloured wire is fine; it's the coloured wire that's awful from jewellery maker , as the colour comes away . I buy my wire from the wires website; it's fantastic quality and does not tarnish, and their coloured wire is brilliant . I like their gunmetal and antique bronze and pink .

shouldn't the hook be turned to the outer side so it doesn't scratch?
@CSLdesigns10 жыл бұрын
You can easily do that in stead if that's what you prefer. You could also turn both the loop and the hook sideways. It is all down to personal preference. But I don't find that it scratches, as there are no sharp edges, but there is no right or wrong. Just personal preference :-)

CLOSING THE HOOK, you should go up, not down, HURT AS SKIN
@ceciliaeastwood89474 жыл бұрын
I have made a number of these and similar bracelets with this hook style clasp. The bracelet hook does not touch the skin whichever way you shape it. It is also much easier to fasten if it is facing downwards. I have done both and this is my experience.
