For those that are comparing this to the Mey Interceptor, this is what I have gathered so far: Pros to the Interceptor: - Slightly more powerful at the same limb power - Larger magazine capacity (18 vs 7 or 12) - Can take any bolts (this is a big one) - Bottom loaded magazine means top rail is closer to groove Pros to Revo7: - Looks more compact and breaks down smaller - Appears much easier to cock due to leverage - Slightly Cheaper (but cancelled out by cost of bolts) - True dry fire protection - Lockable trigger Negatives to Interceptor: - Larger... Though this is only slight? - No dry fire protection, but can handle dry firing even at 120lb so is slightly negated Negatives to Revo7: - Only takes proprietary bolts; this is a big negative for cost The power stats I got from both videos: Interceptor: 30lb, 8.4J. 60lb, 16J. 90lb, 24J. 120lb 33J. Revo7: 30lb, 7.8J. 60lb, 13.8J. 90lb, 24.6J. 120lb 27.8J. There were FPS numbers for Revo7, but none for Interceptor. Would be nice if this was consistent. Unknowns: - Accuracy at different ranges, both look pretty good to be honest. From the video a balloon was hit at 50m with the revo7, which the Interceptor was only tested to 30m and he landed 3 shots and missed 1 on a larger target. It looks like the Revo7 is more accurate, but then its unfair as the Interceptor was using the cheapest training bolts available. - Ergonomics and feel (e.g. Stinger ergonomics are generally reviewed as being better than Vlad) - How much size difference is there between the two? Dimensions and weight Revo7 got more accuracy testing while the Interceptor got more penetration testing; would be good to see a consistent comparison between the two if possible?

Most of the time, you just have to keep your firearms/ammo locked up without her being able to access them, to be legal. Check your state laws first. Biometrics, finger print/retina scan, is ideal. Two other options would be; 1. Any fiream that uses black powder. Pistols, rifles, shotguns that have to be loaded manually by using a 2 or more steps. Think Revolutionary/Civil War era weapons. These devices can be delivered straight to your front door with no background checks, because they are not considered "firearms" by the aft.(Lulz) Some pistols actually can fire modern cartridges with the addition of a special cylinder adapter. Black powder does have a learning curve and can be somewhat tedious, but there is plenty of videos and info out there, that will help you tremendously. 2. Air rifles have come a long way! Check out some YT vids and you will see. The caliber selection is insane!. Big bore air rifles that range from .50 cal up to .72 cal!(Yes I'm aware that the period before the number identifies the caliber! I only used the caliber abbreviation, for those who aren't familiar with the American/Standard of caliber reference. Also, it's for all the jerkoff trolls.) Air rifles can also be suppressed without any aft bullsh*t as well. Several videos show wild hogs being taken down with 1 shot. Hope this helps add to your choices. Cheers

That magazine is revolutionary. No longer the draw length is limited by the length of the bolt. Since most "pistol" sized is limited because the tip of the bolt may chew on the bow string going down. You can 3d print an adapter to a full size crossbow(with a power stroke 3x more than the bolt length) and maybe push for higher speeds. Heck you can slap that to the adder's rail and use an even longer power stroke.

The arming mechanism seems nice, but clearly it is all to be seen its functionality and stress resistance. Moreover this new xbow uses some all new non-standard parts (the bow and the bolts), so it has NO back compatibility with the other EK products. At least Steambow had the decency to make its M10 model fully usable with the modular bases of its old products. Last but no least, at 400+ buck the price is (always IMO, obviously) simply crazy. Ah, BTW, how was the story that the Mey Interceptor was a superior Xbow because it has a bottom-feed magazine?🤔

My sister is not a fan of guns for home defense, unreasonable fear. This would be perfect for her, where do I get this?
@sunwardliang3507Ай бұрын
When is it available in Canada? It looks like a perfect crossbow for both small games and home defence!

I feel like I'd break it trying to shoot fast 😂 looks amazing though 👍

The 30lb bow would be excellent for carp! It would be a single shot but that’s okay! Just going to need fishing tips! The different bow sizes makes this bow very versatile! Looks like a 10 to me! Will they be available in America perhaps on amazon?

You can buy it at gogun.co, ships from out of Florida.

Does the REVO7 have an anti-dry fire system? Can the magazine be placed on the right and left or just on the right?
@lvcas54812 ай бұрын
Looks like its only possible on the right and yes it has an anti dry fire system. You cant load it without an arrow inside
@RenatoBacteria3082 ай бұрын
@@lvcas5481 It was a bad idea, the magazine entering only on the right side doesn't make the crossbow truly ambidextrous. In fact, the idea of the magazine entering on the side seems awkward to load.
@lvcas54812 ай бұрын
If you hold the trigger with your right hand you can only load and remove it from the left from what im seeing. From the right you have that little rail for a tactical flashlight that stands in the way. Its not the best way to load a magazine but in general that crossbow looks like it could be used much faster with its shooting
@Slingshotchannel2 ай бұрын
It does have an anti dry fire system. You can switch the right and left picatinny rail. One is longer and serves as the guide for the magazine. If you switch the longer one to the left side, you can insert the magazine from the right.

Hello Joerg, as you know in Germany we say: "geht nicht gibt's nicht". If the path for the pump action is long enough and correctly geared, it should work just as easily with a pump action mechanism. It may be that a pumping distance of 30 or 40 cm is necessary for this, but it should definitely be possible with the right gearing. It's just up to someone who has to build it to confirm it.
@the_chapАй бұрын
Don’t you want to accept the challenge?
@SlingshotchannelАй бұрын
Ich habe sowas schon gebaut. Mit 40 cm kommst Du nicht aus, außer wenn die Waffe sehr schwach ist.
@the_chapАй бұрын

One thing I didn't like about the Adder was the cocking leaver was constantly "loose" and slightly hanging down, looks like this is the same. really affects the feel of the crossbow. Quality is important.
@Slingshotchannel2 ай бұрын
That is simply a safety feature. You have to press the cocking lever UP for unlocking it, against the tension of the bow. This way you can’t unintentionally open it.

Jörg am always amazed with your new products and inventions what do you think about a cross between an AR 15 and a crossbow it would fire blanks but shoot crossbow bolts with your patented crossbow magazines can you imagine the power with a magazine full of 5.56 blanks launching crossbow bolts ???
