Folks just keep it simple. Workout hard only 3 days per week for 40-60 mins per session with a mixture of Zone 2,3,and,4 phases. Try not to get into zone 5 because that can risk injury and your mitichondria longterm can get dysfunctional from Zone 5. ..... oh and make sure you get enough calories each day. You cant conjure up energy from no where.

The study that reversed 20 years of cardiac aging used upper Zone 2 in much higher volume than HIIT. Zone 2 makes your heart larger and able to pump much more blood with far less fatigue cost. HIIT only adds small increases to stroke volume by making your heart pump that blood more forcefully. We need both. There is a reason 100% of endurance athletes train in moderate intensity the majority of the time.

It was interesting that my lady friend came into the room while I was listening to your excellent talk on age delay tactics. She asked who that was? I responded that it was Dr. Rhonda Patrick. She responded that she (referring to the speaker, Dr Rhonda Patrick sounded like an “Apostle “ of My hero\Guru, Peter Attia) I then responded that I believed that was an accurate assessment!

They know eachother and have appeared on each other's podcasts! Dr Rhonda seems to have more expertise in nutrition though, whereas Dr Attia leans more into exercise and functional fitness. They are in agreement about everything.
