I hoped that, without Glassman, the hyperbolic claims of CF would disappear. Clearly not. I look forward to a Trainer Summit with talks and exchanges about actual CF training methodology

Did you watch the full video? Sources appear to be cited. Not sure if they have been debunked, however. The three stories are most likely true. I would imagine CrossFit spoke with each individual and probably confirmed the accounts. Are you saying the community aspect is being inflated? Which statements do you feel are exaggerated?

@@marcavage I m not arguing against the veridicity of the stories. Just noticing the hyperbole (CF can save the world) especially considering that the world has many problems and that the health and social benefits mentioned are not unique to CF but common to any sport or exercise done in a community

@@samuele.marcora thanks for responding and clarifying. I agree that team sports and fitness with friends (anywhere, not just CF) will provide the same benefit. Being social and being part of a community (fitness, work, whatever) has def made me happier and I'm thankful for it. I do really like the video from the "owning an affiliate" perspective. Sharing success stories helps bring folks into the fold. Thanks again.

The presentation is full of data backed research. There was little to nothing hyperbolic about it.
