I think it would depend on the athletes needs. Say a soccer/football player runs about 4-5 km. a match, with different sprints, running up and down the field for a specific amount of time etc. Program it around that. - So, as mentioned, I'd program it around the sport/goals of the individual. I'm no expert though so I might be totally wrong on this. :-)

Any ideas for programming sled drags/pulls? Weights/Distance/Intervals???
