Crossing abandoned villages in the North of Yakutia | Cycling to the North ( Episode 3 )

In this episode you'll see me cycling 500 km through one of the most uninhabited area of Yakutia (Siberia) in mid of March, 2020.
On my way I've met many truck drivers, road workers and dogs! One of the brightest moment was when workers of the gas company hosted me in the abandoned village (Markoka).
I am beyond grateful for the kindness of the people I've met on this road.

One of the kindest sides of humanity, no doubt.

I love following you (this "reckless" guy) on Google Earth and identifying any landmarks you show along the way. When "we" got to Udachny I could see a couple buildings you went by, the Y in the road and the church on the western edge of town, but was uncertain of how you left town because of older photos being used. There appears to be a road heading north a bit east of town, but it's cut off at the "photo border". It's amazing to get these views of this distant region in the wintertime from the perspective that you are providing, I'm in awe of what you are doing and always impressed with the Russian people, best wishes always...
