Banana tree... Avocado tree Full of HUGE fruit... When they fell, earth reverberated!!! Pet monkey Barney... 9' Python snake called Joe... We had it all... Rhodesian war was inevitable... Noraly, Namibia stole my heart during my first visit many years ago and your trek through Namibia was a wonderful reflection of the unique charm and beauty of the country and its peoples as I experienced it. To appreciate a country you need to go beyond the surface and your encounters and reporting did just that, they showed more than just beautiful and fragile vistas and unique cultures they touched on the soul and fabric of a society. Though each episode of your journal took effort and time to make, they were a sensitive and accurate portrayal of a beautiful part of the world and I for one am very appreciative of the way you went about sharing your remarkable journey. Your touch on the fragile landscape was light but the impact of your passing will live long in the legacy of these episodes. Thank you for sharing.
