It's our final day at sea aboard the Alaska ferry vessel the Kennicott as we work our way from Juneau to Whittier Alaska. Along the way we stop in at Yakutat and see a unique elevator feature of the ferry in work to get cars on and off the ship and onto land. Then you wont believe the weather we had while crossing the Gulf of Alaska. We had some of the most epic weather ever! Ride along with us here all the way to Whittier and our new home in Houston, Alaska. (Season 5 - Episode 5)

Just wanted you to know...we are homeschooling this year and great grandma Ellen decided to teach geography; we're learning that an Atlas is more fun that GPS. As one girl (11) said, she could actually see where she was going! We, my sister and I, live at Ft. Lewis, WA, on base with mom and dad and baby Shaia. Grandma lives in Hood River, Oregon. How was this going to work? We decided to take a "Road Trip" virtually. With Facetime and KZbin! After exploring The Space Needle in Washington just north of us, we decided to travel to Alaska! Grandma found your videos exploring Alaska and we've all loved traveling to Juneau via ferry to Haines and then on to Fairbanks, Prudhoe Bay, Anchorage, Denali Park, Seward, and more! Thanks so much for doing these. They have been so informative and have made geography a lot of fun!

Well! Well! Well! Yes! Watching the cars being loaded or off loaded from the ferry was very interesting. Lots and lots of details in your video make it very informative. Great footage from the ferry! Glad we got to see the tunnel. Awesome job! Keep up the good work of making these videos! Watching from Los Angeles, CA Steve Miller.

Just so you all down south know, that coastal mtn range outside of Yakutat is the tallest coastal mtn range in the world! Wrangell st elias! The ice field glacier area of the Hubbard, malaspina at the base of this range is bigger then Switzerland! I have flown over it on a clear day! Nothing compares to our Alaska! So!😉👍

Thank you so much. I had question so I went on the search and your videos answered them all. I will be on the sept 13 one going south as I am moving to Tucson ...Funny ..From Houston Alaska. Thank you again for all your videos as they were very helpful before my trip down. Best part of the trip is I have a diet where I eat all pre packaged food except one meal and that is just salad and protein so that is going to work out perfect. Thank you again for all the videos :)

The unloading of the cars was fascinating! We rode the ferry between La Paz & Mazatlan in Mexico a few times. Kind of frightening when I look back at it ...
