Nice Nigel!. Hard to believe the grief the CBA gave you compared to the US. Unreal! Great video though man, loved the old silos and elevators. Very cool to see.

Nigel, you may want to consider getting a Nexus card. I've never used it for use for marina crossings but I have it to cross the ambassador bridge all the time and it makes it super quick and easy. I believe it should make your marina crossings easier as well. You may want to look into it
@NigelHay2 жыл бұрын
I was in the process of applying just when Covid hit and then they closed the border. I'll apply this weekend.

@@NigelHay I'm finally crossing over on Saturday for a group ride through the Detroit River up to Sarnia and back (150 miles/240 km). I looked into crossing the border a bit more for Nexus and if you have Nexus you can call the Nexus Marine phone number, 0.5 to 4 hours before you land back in Canada and they'll approve you over the phone. Seems easy enough. Thanks for the video; it helped me feel more confident in crossing by waterway.

That's the old Boblo boat that was the Columbia it went from the downtown Detroit to Boblo Island in Canada

@@NigelHay They were revamping that boat and it caught fire it was supposed to come back to Detroit on the Detroit river for but they scraped that. There was a sister boat just like that 1 called the Saint Clair that one went to another state I think Chicago. Like your channel sorry to hear what happened to your drone. I live off Lake Saint Clair in Michigan. I hope to get my 2023 Sea Doo FishPro Trophy this time next year but I don't know about this economy if should order it. I hear gas is going to be $10.00 a gallon by this time next year WOW! Have a great weekend and can't wait for your next video ciao ciao.
@NigelHay2 жыл бұрын
@@paulpuglia8480 thanks Paul. The lost drone was Bob not me. I saw that too, expensive day out for him. As for your concern of the economy, I have had to re budget a few things so I can still enjoy my Sea doo. Less coffee shops for a start. Save easily $50 per week by taking my own tea and coffee to work with me

hey nigel did you not talk to us border officials at all ?

Only via Video link for US (CBP) and then a phone conversation with Canada Border Agents, Just to add, CBP did tell me that once in their system for that trip, if a patrol boat stopped me then my info will be available to them.

@@optiks87 if you moor, anchor or step on land in the US and have to done the CBP Roam app and been authorized I believe you can be detained. The CBP approval means you have legally been allowed to travel into the US.

What justice system do you support, the one handling Trump dishes out 1,000 years if you spit on a sidewalk- now Rachel Maddow is afraid? A legal system used for political reasons is a flawed legal system period! Seriously flawed. Like Swiss cheese flawed, so flawed you could poke 1,000 holes in it.
