Totally agree. I took a day off work for ACNH and that happened to be the day my job decided to close. One day off for ACNH turned into two months. I can't imagine how depressing the pandemic would have been without ACNH. It came out at just the right time.

It felt so good being able to do something so relaxing, so rewarding, and not having to stress about anything else. 38:31 a little thing I also noticed, I’m pretty sure that if you close your window curtains/blinds, the windows on the exterior of your house will also have their curtains closed. Also, if your main room doesn’t have the lights on, your exterior windows won’t be lit either.

The pumpkins grow in clusters based on how many times you water them. Water them all 4 days you get the 3 cluster. Water them once for the 2 cluster and not watering them at all will result in just 1 pumpkin growing. Also, I put the Mario superstar in one of those tanks in Cephlobot’s house. It pretty cool looking.

There is actually a way to please everyone when you have to deliver a gift. Open it and then go to Nooks Cranny, buy a wrapping paper and select the item you got out of the present. Then just give it to the villiger you need and no one will find out you opened it

As far as warp pipes go, my island is Pokémon themed, and I decided to divide it into a mainline area and a Mystery Dungeon area. So I decided to hide the pipe behind a piece of scenery or something, with a sign that hints where to jump off of. So when you use it, it looks like you’re warping between two different worlds.

secret i've discoverd: if you catch a sea creature while swimming and you do not have place in inventory you have two options: swap it and let it go, but if you catch a seaweed or perarl your options will be: swap it or forget it

Okay so I can confirm the airport not letting you fly before you hear the morning broadcast is a game limitation thing. I stayed at Paradise Planning overnight by accident, and when I tried to swing by Harv's Island before going back home, Wilbur said it was a negative due to "classified stuff". So that confirms my suspicions that I had to have the reset/rollover to start a new day, and that hinges on Izzy!

22:00 When you don´t water pumpkins, you get one from one planr, when you water them on one day while the plant is growing, you get 2 for this harvest on this plant and if you water them on two growing-days, you get three for this harvest from this plant. When their color is appeared, they are ready for harvest and watering them has instead effect on the next harvest-day after this harvest.

I think this is a compilation video of animal crossing secrets. There are other things that weren’t introduced until the 2.0 update (like the fact that you can see Joan in the dlc) that he mentioned. So he likely made that part of the video before the update :)

There is another way to jump off a cliff. If you build a cliff as far out it can go on the peninsula and wear your swimsuit you can jump into the water from higher up.

@CrossingChannel Another awesome video! I've been playing NH as well as other games in the AC series for a long time, and a lot of these secrets still shocked me! Like I had no idea Timmy and Tommy would give you the boot if you stayed too long. That one was one of the most shocking for me. Another shocking secret for me was about clapping along with KK. I was just at one of his shows that he does every Saturday like an hour ago, and I had 2 of my villagers, Drago and Rosie to be exact enjoying the music with my player. I actually thought to myself 'I wonder if she can clap along with the music?' That's awesome and kinda ironic! It's like you read my mind! A lot of the deeper stuff I didn't know like bad blood between Tom and Redd, the history of the Able sisters. That's super cool! Really great video!

The thing with the pumpkins is the same as every other crop: the number of days you water them in a row is directly related to how many each plant produces with a max of 3. So if you pluck your pumpkin amd water it 1 day and not again you'll get 1 pumpkin. If you water 2 days in a row, you'll get 2 pumpkins. 3 days in a row=3 pumpkins per planted crop.

Pumpkins & other crops will fully grow one veggie without watering them. If you water them once (or it rains), they'll grow two. If you water them the first and second day, they'll grow three.💦🌱🍅🍅🍅

Nan and Chevre are two villagers that have each other's photos in their homes, in New Horizons! I had Nan on my island, she's a black goat with a black rattan home, while Chevre is a white goat a white rattan home. They're in reference to a Japanese folk song! Also the nerdy hamster, Graham, with the tech-server home, has a secret shrine of Christine and Francine hung up above the entryway, it's just high enough that it's easily missable. It's by far one of my favourite easter eggs 😂

with vegetables and such - as far as i'm aware, they are grown in 2-day cycles; so let's say day 1 is when they are grown and you harvest them, day 2 they are growing, day 3 the same as day 1 if you don't water at all, by day 3 you will just have one for each crop to harvest. if you water once (say on day 2) then you will have two, if you water both days - both the same day after harvesting, as well as the off-day - you will yield 3 of each!

I got the tight squeeze dialogue the other day for a log staircase I built. I made a little fishing hole area within my second layer on the island, but it's a depression in that cliff (so you have to go to the second level to get there, but the area is on the first level elevation wise). Anyway, I placed a log staircase leading down between the edge of the cliff going from left at the top to right at the bottom, and he mentioned it then

I actually had the "thrown out of Nook's Cranny" thing happen to me. I was inside the shop and had to stop playing (I think to start work) so I put my Switch to sleep while still in there. When I went back later, it was after their hours, so they were like "We love having you here, but we're closed, so sorry you need to leave." You technically *can* jump off cliffs if you are jumping into the ocean. You have to have the wetsuit equipped to do this, but I've done it before. I got the special Amiibo dialogue with the Isabelle Smash Bros Amiibo figure. I tried to use it to invite her to the island after she was already there, and it didn't work. Not sure about Digby though (they DID re-release the Amiibo set of him and Isabelle from Amiibo Festival for use in ACNH). I use the warp pipe as a shortcut. When I first started the game, I put my house on the beach, cause I thought that would be fun. It made for a bit of a walk to get to the main Plaza in the center of the island, though, so I put one warp pipe by my house and the other near the Plaza (hiding it behind a vending machine) so I could get there quicker 😂 This makes me want to play the game again. I haven't played in so long my villagers probably all hate me... 😨

Ah, KK Slider! I remember back when I played with my friends. Occasionally, when they'd go to listen to a song, I would run around in the area with an axe and try to hit them - I believe I actually showed up in the cutscene when I was within certain bounds (ie where the people/villagers stand) Also, if you stand in a hallway or at the door mat to the Able Sisters changing room, player collision won't be enabled so you can do all sorts of shenanigans like doing yoga inside your friends
