Jump 15 Trying to choose between this system and the rx smartgear zeus with two other cables. Also if I go with Crossrope , do you recommend the first gen set or the new get lean . Looking to do hiit cardio mostly and jump rope workouts, not particularly interested in CrossFit style workouts at this time. Therefore double unders aren’t really my goal . Looking forward to your reply

@@thomasnalley3768 Hi Thomas, While I haven't used the Rx rope I have heard numerous people say when they have changed to Crossrope they found Crossrope to be more durable, which is huge for me because I don't like to be stuck jumping on a mat. If going with Crossrope I would definitely go with the new get lean system. The updates to the system are great. Here are some points I notice: -Rx states all sales are final vs Crossrope 30 day guarantee + warranty on handles (send them back if you don't like them) -Rx $50 for 1 rope vs CR 2 ropes for $80 giving you the ability to switch it up and still work on speed intensity as well. -durability as stated above - word of mouth says Crossrope is better. And my experience with it has been great. -maybe check reviews on this for Rx. -Crossrope backs their products with the community, challenges, free app. I'm not aware of Rx having anything like that. I hear Rx makes good ropes and you can get a multitude of colors. Overall I am a firm believer that Crossrope is the top dog in the weighted jump rope game. If you decide to go with Crossrope, I would certainly appreciate it if you use my link, but of course no pressure as well. They do sell on Amazon thru a reseller, but they are backed by CR exactly the same. I hope this helps and let me know if I can help further!

Jump 15 between the 1/2 lb and the 1 lb. probably the 1/2 lb because you can go intense but still have you burning 🥵 also I have love for the 2 lb. I truly believe that the 2 lb is what got me getting my doubles within 3 weeks of even jumping. I also use the halter for when learning tricks because that extra weight helps train muscle memory for when you use a lighter rope.

@Jump15official5 жыл бұрын
They can be used with both, however, the slim handles are not great for the 1 & 2 LB ropes as they provide a lot more torque that the power handles are built for. How do the ropes hold up with scraping on cement?
@Jump15official5 жыл бұрын
I always choose the smoothest surface e I can, but I do jump on concrete, asphalt, or even the worst...exposed aggragate from time to time. Compared to other ropes they hold up very well. All ropes will wear out and the more you use it on rough surfaces the faster it will happen. I had my last 1/4 lb rope for a year and used it wherever I wanted to jump. Replacement was only $18.

These don't sound as durable as I would expect for a jump rope at that price point. The rope is one thing but the handles are another. How long did it take for your first set of handles to fail?
@Jump15official5 жыл бұрын
Over a year is better than most ropes out there and that is with my pace of jumping and on rougher concrete from time to time. If you use a mat it may be much longer. Curious, How long would you expect them to last? (Remember rope replacement for 1/4 lb rope is $18 which is the only one I've worn out) I have never had handles fail. If they do within 2 years of your purchase, it's covered by warranty and they will send you new ones. The new handles have ceramic bearings which are suppose to be even more durable. My current handles are over 1 year old and going strong. No visible wear on the grips either. Note: I'm an affiliate for Crossrope because I believe in their product and use it 4-5 days a week and have yet to find a rope better. I simply wouldn't support them if I didn't think they were worth the cost. Of course they aren't for everyone either! Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for watching!

@@Jump15official The last jump rope I bought was from Rogue and it started falling apart the second time I used it. I paid 25 bucks for it and thought it was overpriced for what it was and then for it to start breaking down the second time I used it really irked me. You use a jump rope a lot more than I do. So its probably less of a worry for me that it wears out than it is for you. I guess my main concern is I get my money's worth out of it before it needs to be replaced. Thanks for the response.

Ya man, I would be irked as well, that sucks. Rogue should have replaced your rope as well. It really depends on how much you jump rope. If it isn't something you do at least a few times a week, Crossrope may not be worth it to you. I can tell you a good rope makes a huge difference in the enjoyment of the exercise as well as performance, but can't say if it would be worthwhile for you personally. Well, I.m sorry, but $88 for their cheapest is overly priced and is not that special really. I've had it as a trial (for almost 2 months) from one of my friend and found that despite the fact that it is a nicely made handle/rope but....you know what ?? It is NOTHING special about it other than yes it is a shiny good looking rope. I mean, what is made of ??? It has to be coated with gold to worth that much . Really ? I do not buy into such extortionate companies.
@Jump15official5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for stopping by. A few thoughts regarding your comment: All products are not for everyone, but calling them extortionists is a bit much. They make a very good product, I know cause I have used them for 7 yrs and that's the only reason I recommend them as an affiliate. Honestly $88 for TWO ropes and handles guaranteed for 2 yrs is more than competitive with other higher end jump rope brands. Rx, Rogue, and RPM to name a few charge $50 or more for a single rope. Heck, one of those has a speed rope they sell for $125 (and it sells)! I wouldn't pay that, but won't bad mouth it either. Some people find the value in it. I get it, Crossrope is not for you and it's not for everyone. That's fine. However, saying any company is fraudulent because they sell a product with features you don't value isn't right either. Simply don't buy, problem solved.

Would love to try these out and see if they are worth the cost, i got my rope for 2$ and been using it for a long time, i thinks its funny that the only people promoting these ropes are youtubers that get them for free , i havent seen any boxers, or jumprope trickster use these.
@hugochen22934 жыл бұрын
flyingvish My jump rope just split right in half in mid air so I just ordered a Crossrope but I feel like this is more of a jump rope to get lean since it’s weighted. Most boxers and people who do tricks use standard ones for the speed since it’s way easier to go faster and do tricks with them. And this jump rope may seem expensive at first but for the lifetime warranty and cost we usually pay at the gym anyways I feel like this is a good investment for the times your just at home. From what I have seen people have been getting results in a week and I definitely need to try it out and update you on that. They also got 60 day free return so it’s risk free.

Obviously you have not encountered any Cross Rope experience yet :-) Yes, they are expensive, and even more if shipped to EU (at least in the past, now they have EU friendly shipping), but they are worth it, every single cent. I still use the older System and still have a lot of spare ropes of different weights, enough for some years (if I continue jumping on concrete often, otherwise some more years), but I have to say the cross ropes are really a class of its own (both price and quality), other ropes work as well, but the added value with the weighted ropes is awesome :) sponsored or not, J15 is right with the positive review. If you are really serious about jumping rope it is worth it for sure, but if you are jumping rope not that often or do not enjoy it that much, choose a cheaper option...
