I got the full set when it came out. I live in a smaller space and can’t jump rope indoors. Also can’t jump rope outside when it’s winter. This has been pretty good and I’m glad I got them. Maybe not as good as using an actual rope, but it is effective.

Love to hear they are working out for you and I'm glad it helps solve your problem!

One good point for ropeless jump rope is that you don’t have to worry the worn out of the rope due to friction . I had 2 classic crossrope and it worn out less than a year (I jumped 25 mins/day)

Seniors enjoy this rope since they do have mobility issues; and secondly, you can work on your core on a mat and rotate the cordless rope. I agree this is not for you and the techniques for this rope needs more development. Please do not give up on developing new techniques for this tool, some of us seniors who do not have mobility issue would like to use it. This tool can also be used for one leg balance while rotating the rope which requires concentration and then the same for the other leg. Thank you for this video.

Thank you for this insight Shirley. I like the one leg idea👍 I'll keep thinking about this and shoot me any ideas you come up with!

One other problem these might solve: I noticed that I had the habit of using virtually all elbow and no wrist in my non-dominant arm. These have proved useful in training the wrists to do the work. I've noticed my upper body is more symmetrical. More wrist + less elbow/shoulder = longer jump sets! Something to add to a sit and chill session

Nice! Yes, they are great for working out rope rotation imbalances. 👍

What is important, number of jumps. If u r jumping 150 jumps per minute it makes for a lot of sense with rope less. U will be more jumping and less tangling

Crossrope is two steps closer to making nunchucks
@Jump15official
@Jump15official Жыл бұрын
Haha well they technically already did that back when they first started. The original handles were literally nunchucks. 🥷

This was so worth watching just to see you use the ropeless rope while brushing your teeth! 😂 it looks like you had fun recording this video. 😄 I’m with you on ropeless jump rope. It’s awkward and not my thing. There are less awkward options to maintain upper body strength if I ever couldn’t jump rope. 👍🏻

🤣 Ya since you can't do anything really skillful with them I needed to have fun somehow! Glad you made it to that part! I definitely agree with you on the last part 👍 bodyweight exercises are and would be a go-to for me. Appreciate you Tina!🤜

I like them for visualizing spinning the rope while learning a new trick. Yes i think it defeats the purpose but crossrope's one is at least good for an arm workout

For me being autistic and have spent dedicated time trying to learn to jump rope to get a workout in and my best is still 7 before I hit my leg with many different ropes and aids (trying something new every 6 weeks). I spent a year around 15 minutes a day trying to learn this skill.

I brought the half a lb ropeless rope but it didnt seem to have enough intensity to increase my heart rate. Do you think the 2lb ropeless would be too much or is it possible to use the 2lb ropeless for 60 minutes?
@Jump15official
@Jump15official Жыл бұрын
I think it would definitely push you harder than the 1/2 lb and yes, you could work up to 60 seconds as I did in the video. However, if you can find the space and have the means to actually jump rope, that would be far better.🤙

@@Jump15official Thanks for the reply. I meant is it feasible to jump rope non-stop for 60 minutes without straining your wrist or should i go for 1 lb.
@Jump15official

@@Brians_World81 gotcha. I imagine you could work up to that....I know I wouldn't want to haha

Did anyone see The Office episode where Will Ferrell juggled with invisible balls? That’s what these remind me of.

I feel like people are undermining the benefits of this. You’re isolating your individual wrists and arms and potentially stabilizing fine muscles better.
@Jump15official
@Jump15official 5 ай бұрын
Stabilizing is resisting unstableness. The muscles are engaged the whole time. Stability is a key ingredient to athleticism, power and control. It allows you to quickly change directions or continue to power forward when meeting resistance.

@Jump15official
@Jump15official Жыл бұрын
I didn't either, but they are restocking because they had far more interest than they even thought. It turns out a lot of people don't have sufficient space to jump rope, but want to participate in this way. Ultimately, moving your body in any way is good for you and hopefully it will convert them to the rope down the road. 👍

At the end of the video I smack myself in the leg pretty hard and honestly it didn't hurt. They look dangerous, but the ends are foam and seem to be pretty protected from causing injury... especially if being used appropriately.

Ridiculous things. Can’t beat an actual rope…
@Jump15official
@Jump15official 11 ай бұрын
I don't believe anybody disagrees with that sentiment, including Crossrope. It's serving a specific need for lack of space and inability to jump, which seems to be bigger than they even thought. If you can jump rope.....jump a rope🤙
