I've said in past videos that disconnecting the brake is a good way to make yourself a faster rider. This just proves the point.

I was once riding around a MX track, getting pretty confident with my skills as i was able to pull in any of the other weekend warriors Until a rider comes on the track and just inhaliated me, enough for me & everyone else to sit and watch him do a couple laps He eventually gets off and takes off his helmet, to my suprise he is an older man in his 50s I asked him on how i can improve and what he said was just that "Don't touch the brakes throughout the track and gain more speed each lap"

Agreed. I always played catch up, on my 200 (XR or KDX), with the latest and greatest when we got into the tight stuff. Same for the street. Always caught up, on my 03 Ducati Multistrada, to the latest and greatest sport bikes in the twisties.

Yes! I remember a mate with his Casey Stoner replica Fireblade. He would disappear on every long straight but then I'd catch up under brakes and through corners on my old SV650 twin.

Yeah but what kind of tires was she using and how often has the oil been changed? By the way the bike was handling I'd say there was 10.4 to 10.9 psi in the tires. For that terrain I'd recommend 10.25 psi. LOL
@crosstrainingenduro3 жыл бұрын
Wang Chang knobbies. Oil changes every fourth gear change. Air pressure adjusted halfway up each hill to maintain consistency with barometric pressure.

Its probably more than 80% , perhaps 90%, however, Jarvis on a 2T 300 would always beat Jarvis on a CRF250F. You can learn serious skills on just about anything, its so very worthwhile to ride anything you can afford, vs waiting till you have that perfect bike. To advance and compete you won't cut it on a Honda 90 or TW200 in hard enduro, but so many other bikes will work. A lot of us love to learn and talk about different bike models, that's why I love to hear CTE discussing and pointing out lots of different bike models in their travels. Just about any bike will work for starting out, a bike, and a generous stable of Clint Eastwood Quotes will keep you satisfied, alive and well, out on the trail.
