Made these today, the craving was real! My son was jumping up and down excited, told me I was the best mom ever and asked me to make them again. I rarely do the cooking so it's nice to have a hit in my small repertoire.

I found your channel looking for Chicken & Dumplings. I had never had success before. That lead to Pretzel Dogs, which was a big hit with my son. I love that your recipes are from scratch, generally using simple, inexpensive ingredients. And the results are fabulous! You carry the Viewer through the recipe in an efficient way, but still manage to convey the warmth of your personality. You warn the viewer of potential problems, while encouraging alternate ingredients when appropriate. Bravo!

Everyone I see doing this wraps the dough without flattening it and it looks way to thick. I was thinking I would try flattening when I tried this and then I came across your vid...looks great, thank you very much for sharing.

Jason, these are off the hook awesome! I have a place near me called Philly Pretzel Heaven and I try to go there once a week for pretzel dogs, but even they don't put cheese in them! I get a little container of deli mustard and go to town! Great cook, Mr Crouton Crackerjacks!

This beats a hot dog bun any day. I like to wrap dogs in crescent dough but this would be much cheaper and better. I make soft pretzels so this will be easy. Thanks Jack.:o)

making these tomorrow along with the pretzel hotdogs so excited to see if these are as good as you and everyone else says* even probably made wrong(lower temp milk extra flower) these things still rock! so soft so flavor full im done makeing more later this week my only problem was theyw ere unevenand i dont think it was tight enough next batch ill get better i hope xD
