I appreciate that you mention specifically which campaigns use predatory practice of $1 pre pledge. I got caught. I pre-pledged for Twisted Cryptids $1, but the promised discount never appeared on their pledge manager. I tried to reach out to them via KS comments and they said that I must send an email what I did. No response from them - and they warned that PM timespan is going to be short - ending on 20th of November. My initial pledge was $39 and shipping + VAT IS going to be $39.65 on top of that. In this case it is crucial to me to get discount, but seems I will never ever get that.

Trigger warning: I won't be doing any work for the next 2 hours run time. No really I hate jumpscares so much. Edit 2 hours later: That was a massive video - dude thanks for putting into the effort to look at all these games! I feel a bit sorry for stifiling dark who accidentally caught a stray bullet at the end wrap up after I recommended you look at sublime dark :D. I did back sublime dark because im a fan of the designer but even as a big fan I think the lack of rulebook is really bad form when you are asking for peoples money in a competitive landscape. Also the trailer for that big production roll and write looked super appealing but wowzer I did not notice that price.

@@Vequeth haha yeah I hope you end up liking it! Just was such a "this is a game built on vibes" feeling, I really don't have a clear idea of what is going on in there. But thanks for putting it on my radar all the same, I like at least knowing what the companies are putting out there.

Hello! Do you think that the fact that the knights are the same color in the new Barony will make it more difficult to visualize the plays? @@antoniamariafernandezgarci7603 I think I remember seeing a comment is that colour blind people had more of an issue with the two toned colours of the previous ones. I think the shape of the Knights will do the job in this one, although that is another aspect of the previous production that I really enjoy

Raising Robots is great, especially for solo play. It is definitely my pick of the week!

Raising Robots is a really good game, but the theme and the art are just fantastic and so, so, so charming. The production is also great. Really happy I bought that one. I don't feel like I need the expansion, but I do recommend the base game.

Definitely makes sense not to pick up the Royal Edition if you already have the game, but as someone who hadn't even heard of Barony until I started watching Room & Board, and as a big fan of Splendor, I'm very excited to finally get to throw some money at this one.

Allplay impressed me with their previous offering, and this next batch looks great so I'm going with them! Barony is tempting due to your continued praises! I agree about not being terribly inspired by the art direction. I'm sure I'd enjoy it but I don't think my wife would be as keen.

I’m a huge Dice Throne fan, it is wild to me how they make so many different character playstyles that still feel fairly balanced. I was not a huge fan of Adventures because of the length, and I got to playtest Missions and enjoyed that much more so I am willing to give the one-shot adventures a try.

Two Hours!! Ruins was kinda the only one from the BoardGameTables -- Allplay -- bundle that I'm really excited about so I'm happy that's the pick for me, but I'll probably wait to see if I can get it at retail.

I think I need to watch your video more often... I will save some money. I found a game that look interesting and you simply destroy it. Of course then you praise some other game that I have no interest and I'm tempted but usually are a cheap one so... Still I'm not in Barony - Royal Edition... looks boring :P

I can't take Earth 2053 seriously. They've made a game about saving the environment and say they're going to make it in the least environmentally intrusive way possible, but then they've used AI to make the game and AI has a pretty well reported negative impact on the environment with it's ever increasing energy demands and resulting carbon emissions. So it would seem they don't care that much about the environment (or having art that isn't awful) after all. Sad to see another publisher turn in this direction, but on the plus side it makes it easy for me to save money.
