We go to that same spot very often. Beautiful rocks.

It's a great spot, but I assume anywhere on Crowley's Ridge with a river and gravel is a goldmine.

Nice pieces!! I've never searched in the Crowley's Ridge area before...looks like it might be a fun trip!

If I can find 4 genuine fortified agates in an hour like in this video, then I am confident you would have a bucket full of them. lol It was my second time doing a quick stop there and although I don't tumble or polish rocks I am hooked on those agates!

I suspect most of these traveled from further north. You need to check out some creeks in Washington county Missouri!

Are they like the lace agates near Potosi?

Can you give me info on finding any of these locations? I tried today but didn't have much luck.

There is a link in the description that you can use to map to the spot with your phone if you do GPS on google maps. From I-40 you take the New Castle Rd. Exit near Forest City. Go North on New Castle Rd and take a right on "409" after maybe a couple miles. After you get on 409 it might be 1/2 mile until you get to Crow Creek and the bridge over it. This is the spot.
