This song gives me chills on so many levels. My son went missing in the Kentucky woods, Army vet with PTSD and I searched alone for him and saw a road marker that I was on the Trail of Tears. I thought about all the Cherokee families that perished there and grieved for them. Though my son survived, I will be forever haunted by that memory and my heart aches for the families of the missing women.

Now if only the Canadian government taught about residential schools. In the states we learn about the trail of tears and the mistreatment of the natives. Im not responsible for the sins of my ancestors but it is our responsibility to learn about what my people have done and learn from the mistakes of the past.

As a Native woman, I can't put into words this song means to me, what this video means to me. My breath caught from the opening word of the narration and the wail (? I can't think of a better way to describe it?) in the singer's voice on the line "Give them back." brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for this song, thank you for the music you two make, thank you for seeing us, for telling the world that we matter, that our missing and murdered sisters are loved. Wado

I didn't know about the Highway of Tears until I listened to this song. This video brought me to tears. How long will it take until the indigenous people in the world are recognized and treated with respect? We need to learn to love one another!

Can we give a little props to the art director, video production and dance coordination teams....... They shot this vid in the winter and you never see a single breath exhaled by the dancers. True symbolism achieved in light of the subject matter makes it more impactful with each view. 👍❤️

Holy smokes! I was just introduced to you guys this afternoon while listening to Celeigh Cardinal's, Full Circle, on CKUA. Wow! What a great rendition of Feeling Good. If Robert Plant and Jeff Buckley, Phil Collins, and Neil Peart were able to clone a baby, he would be named, Cody. Kevin, great job on the instrumental work. I'm betting you picked on looping from Alex Lifeson, right after being born. Plus you get to hold down bass and rhythm :) Tight arrangements guys. As a west Canadian, who listens to multiple genres, I'm super proud of your diligence to the craft and supporting Canada, by contributing great f**king music. Canada has a LOT of excellent talent, with whom you both fit on the top shelf. Cheers lads, and providing the creeks don't rise too high I'll look forward to seeing Crown Land out Alberta way. I'm sending out smoke signals for you both, right now!

As a white guy, the more I hear of my forefathers had done decades ago to the First Peoples of this land I live in and call home the more I feel ashamed. Yet so many missing women over the years on The Highway of Tears...more to be ashamed of as authorities and the law have turned a callous eye to and its only more to be ashamed of. There continues to be monsters out there that have no respect or remorse. Apology is clearly not enough. It is time to find out what happened. RIP to all the lost angels of the Earth. We must all find a resolution someday
