After 41 years as Rush fan, 52 concerts including the LA Forum final show, I had resigned myself to the idea that there would be no next band to take on the progressive hard rock mantle...this band checks all the boxes as worthy heirs to carry that style in similar but new directions, amazingly with 2 guys instead of 3...I havent been this excited about music since the first time I heard Rush...I can't wait to see where this leads...and please tour the states soon

@@BaileyJim11 I have been a little but busy as a doctor in the pandemic, but as life frees up I plan on spreading the word heavily. In Rush fans alone on social media, there are enough people out there to massively support what this band is doing...the genre needs this group to save it from obscurity....I also have music industry contacts including a very well known musical artist close friend that I am encouraging to get on the bandwagon and assist...I view this similar to the early days of Rush where touring and word of mouth will be essential...my Canadian wife is also going bonkers over them :)

Thanks Peter. I too am a long time Rush fan. I don’t mind this new band, but I miss the bottom end that a bass player provides. And I too have been searching for a replacement!! I found mine in a band out of Nashville … All Them Witches!!!! More heavy blues, much like Here Again on the first Rush album. But seriously, check out their third album, Dying Surfer Meets His Maker. One of the best albums in 30 years (or more). It has everything for everyone on one album. All Them Witches. And like Rush, they are doing it the old fashion way, not a lot of air play, but building a fan base one concert at a time!!!

Clearly, the progeny of Rush, but not in any way derivative. At 57, I’ve not been this excited for new music in far too long. Got back into analog six years ago, and have assembled a nice system to spin vinyl on and to share music with my three young boys. Within 12 hours of discovery, I now have the latest LP Fearless and White Buffalo on the way to my home. Lifelong Rush fan, Crown Lands is the heir apparent…. I can’t think of any bigger compliment than to say such a thing.
