In February 2023 we chose the Enchanted Princess. We were upgraded to a suite, which we didn’t really like. We prefer a balcony room with the bed close to the doors. We like to keep them open at night. Beautiful ship, but I prefer the Crown. I like the smaller crowd and the layout is better in my opinion. 😎🇨🇦😎

It's funny how sometimes the "upgrade" really isn't better. That's how I feel about most rooms because I LOVE inside cabins. We are sailing on the Sky next and my brother thinks we will love it but I have a feeling I'm still going to prefer the Crown 😂

Thank you for this. I am an semi ambulatory wheelchair user and your issue with not having the buttons was one of the main things that bother me about princess. It’s really hard being able to stand up for a little bit at least on a good day I’m able to handle it on a bad day the bathrooms are HARD.

I'm so sorry this is an issue for you as well. Have you been on other Princess ships that didn't have the buttons? This is definitely something Princess needs to fix!

Great video, I was on the Ruby Princess back in June, before Crown Princess took over as the home ship for San Francisco; both ship are sisters. Comparing those two ships to the prior ones that served SF, including Royal, Grand and Star, Ruby was not my favorite. Much smaller Horizon terrace, the aft outdoor section of the ship on Lido where the buffet is. Royal had tables and couches, and Grand and Star had larger tables for outdoor dining. And Club Fusion is an odd venue, as I'm used to the Vista lounge as a secondary venue for performances and shows.

My first cruise ever was on the Ruby but that was way back in 2012 and I cruised differently back then. The larger Horizon terrace sounds amazing on the other ships! We definitely would have sat out there more if it had larger tables and couches. Thanks so much for sharing, now I really want to go on the Royal or maybe even the Grand! We will be going on the Sky and the new Sun (sister to the new Star) but I feel like they might be a bit too big for us.

I was on the Crown Princess to Hawaii this year. I loved that ship as well. Although I did have trouble finding a seat in the buffet since I went at peak time. (Also, please get a better microphone for your videos - it sounds like you are on the other side of the room)

We are hoping to one day go to Hawaii! It would be amazing to go on the Crown. I do have a microphone but with my phone it actually ends up worse than the default phone microphone. I'm hoping to get a new camera that I can use my microphone with next month 😊
