So I decided to download the Windows 11 23h2 pro version from Microsoft and install it on my 12 year old Acer Aspire 5750G laptop. All went smoothly, and it's not showing signs of any problems 😀. I bypassed Microsofts compatability checker to allow the installation process. It has also been activated with Microsoft 😀. Not bad for a 12 year old laptop which specs are, Acer Aspire 5750G running i5-2450M 2.5GHz with turbo boost to 3.1GHz, 750GB HHD, 8GB DDR3 memory, it's nothing special by today's standards but when I bought it 12 years ago it was of good specification and it wasn't cheap!!

On mine, I found it doing automatic updates after the initial installation had finished. Some updates were huge due to the time it took to download and install them. Anyways, the laptop has never been so perfect, and I'm very happy that I went from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro 23H2.

that is because you have to use another Hard Drive to install, the one you chose was a hidden Hard Drive that is reserved for the windows. It probably has multiple Hard Drives like C: or D: or E: so chose another one when it prompts during the isntalation of windows
