Only saw Pickett once on stage. In DC. Maybe 1965 or 1966? Not just a great soul singer. An awesome dancer, too. May he rest in peace.

I would disagree with that. Stones were a different kind of soul, along Muddy and Howlin' Wolf and Slim Harpo's lines. I'll never take away one thing about the Stones. They truly were and are the greatest rock 'n roll band to ever have existed along with America's NRBQ. Talk about a total package, the Q are it.
