This game makes me miss Paragon so much! D: Paragon was an MOBA I REALLY enjoyed, It felt impactful, the item system was fun and creative. The heroes was a bit of a mishmash but I really enjoyed it :) CURSE YOU FORTNITE! ;( (Epic Closed down Paragon to focus on Fortnite, which I still hate them for)

something that grabbed my attention was the time to kill. I really like shooters with a longer time to kill as it makes each engagement feel more tactical, and so I might try this game out in a couple of months when I able to use my main setup

Definitely something I enjoyed. Again, I think feedback is missing here, as it'd be nice to get more of a feel of how much impact you have rather than gauging it entirely from the healthbars slowly declining but nevertheless the actual pace of each fight I found very enjoyable and allowed for a lot of juking and outplay potential. (e.g just look at how much more damage I inflicted on the enemy Drakahl - big warrior fellow - in the first clip here where I am playing Drakahl, by interrupting his attacks and moving out of the way of his bigger hits in time.)

To all the guys mentioning Paragon here in the comment section: I heard that there is kind of a remake available on steam right now. It's called "Fault", published by "Strange Matter Studios". I think they really just took all the old heroes and most game elements in general and just recreated the game. Looks like im going to give it a try eventually. (I enjoyed playing Paragon so much back then.) Thought this could be worth to share with you ;). See y' all in game maybe!

i give this 5/10, i'm asian, playing many games at competitive level ( oh yeah i reached master in Apex Legends, Global Elite in CSGO, Platinum in LOL and Rainbow Six Siege.... ) i think this game is far from......."decent enough" to keep large player base or become any major flashy tournament. it also lacks of too many things that can make this game feels like a real arena. bunch of random hero fighting each other - perhaps yes. but a game that compete at Overwatch/CSGO/R6.... , nope nope nope, still very far

Gigantic, this is proof the world misses you! Great overall synopsis on Crucible's current state. It's really a shame it came out so under baked as it will need to really come back with a great update to fix what has certainly made a lot of people uninstall. I'm all for a game like this as a Gigantic fan (Aisling main FTW) even though Project: Stamina is currently working on it's spiritual successor, this is a nice game to play while I wait for them to have a playable Alpha. Truly hope some game breaking bugs get addressed as I know I would not like to be on the end of the DoT damage bugs that can last the entirety of a match. I have a recording of such an even happening to an opposing player while I played as Summer, twas not fun for them.
@haasgaming4 жыл бұрын
What happened to Gigantic should've been a crime. Such an awesome title. Regarding the bug, hadn't seen a DoT damage bug myself, though I can believe it. That said, it was not the 3 minute DoT that Shakirri can apply after level 5, was it?
@SyntheticThief4 жыл бұрын
@@haasgaming No, the DoT bugs I've seen occur is Summer & Bug (go figure xP). I only know of Bug's because it happened to me when I respawned though thankfully it went away out of the blue for me.

Games like this make me wish that Gigantic and Paragon never died. Their characters were pretty original, whereas this just looks like pretty lame character design.

Gigantic is definitely in my top 3 games I'd resurrect in a heartbeat.

@@haasgaming I wish a big studio like Riot Games would buy the IP and resurrect it or a platform like Steam. Epic Games has Fortnite, Origin has Apex, Steam could have Gigantic.

The Moba-mode kinda made me miss Smite, which I played for like 400 hours before my gaming pc broke down. If I could transfer my account to PS4 with skins and all I might even give the game another look...
@haasgaming4 жыл бұрын
Used to play Smite a lot myself! (You'll find some of the earliest hero guides on this channel in fact, but don't look they've aged horribly I promise.) Dropped off eventually as they kept going through map overhauls and I ended up liking them less and less. That said, I hear it's luckily in a good state these days.

Still a hard pass from me. Tutorial was terrible so most of the population has no clue how to play the objective due to the lack of hints too. Combat is still worse than gigantic/battleborn. The game is just going to die and wasting more time on it isn't worth it.
@haasgaming4 жыл бұрын
Certainly, the lack of feedback and information is a massive issue. It's quite obvious a lot of people find it confusing as to how the flow of the game actually works, as I'm sure most aren't familiar with games such as Gigantic or Battleborn. Quite often I see people approach this as a simple shooter and that's a fast track to losing, and that's all on the game's lack of feedback. I fear you're probably right, though I'd love to be happily surprised in a few months. One of these days a game like this'll stick, riiiight?

@@haasgaming well, given that even OW is dying out, it might just be a niche genre until someone comes out with some revolutionary thing, or TF3 comes out.

It's always interesting debating what is and isn't worth reviewing, considering the time investment. But for what it's worth, if this ain't your cup of tea I hope to have reviews for Monster Train (deckbuilder title) and TW: Warhammer 2's latest DLC somewhere this week as well. In regards to Crucible, I liked it enough to actually keep playing it. I could've reviewed Bleeding Edge last month too for instance, actually a game that would fall within this strange genre, but that I simply couldn't get myself to spend enough hours on.
