Yandere dev has been controversial for a long time. He's the creator of Yandere simulator but has been working on the demo for almost a decade. I also wear the exact same type of clothing to workout in when I workout at home, where nobody sees me. It is way more comfortable, moisture wicking is everything. It makes movement easier and makes it easier to check form and see what needs adjusting.

As a trans woman, I can confirm that temperature actually feels a bit different now compared to when I wasn't on HRT. I used to be able to go outside in any kind of weather wearing heavy pants and a hoodie, but I started noticing about 4 months into my HRT that my body was more sensitive to the temperature, both ambient and body temp. Not saying this is everyone's experience, but all of my girlfriends have voiced being uncomfortably hot when working out in clothes that aren't comfortable and I'm feeling the same as I further my transition.

As a gym goer myself, I do see woman AND surprisingly some men wear those tight form fitting pants, and they look friggin’ good, I have no problems with people wearing those types of clothing. Hell, I even see both men and women come into the gym with their PJ’s on just to do a quick work out before handling their daily business. At the end of the day I just don’t want other gym goers to hog the equipment I need to use. Working out and getting into a regimen that fits me and allows me to get used to it is my main concern. Plus at the end of the day, it’s none of my effing business, my primary focus is on me losing the weight and getting healthy. Whether you’re a man, a woman, or any gender I don’t really care what you wear at the gym.

I don't have a thigh gap, my thighs are too big so I always make a point to wear pants or long shorts when working out. Also tighter fitting clothes are less likely to catch on things and don't restrict movement since there isn't enough fabric to bunch up.

The problem I have is with women that clearly are doing it for attention but then will go on to complain about how "men are objectifying her". I used to go to a local gym and 1 time this woman in her early 30's showed up and she was basically showing all skin legally possible. Even her pants just barely covered her curves and the backside was almost like a thong. I’m gonna be honest. As a female personal trainer yes some women dress inappropriately but some guys can be too. I see them strip in the gym to flex and we have to tell them to put their clothes back on because there’s fucking mirrors in the bathroom for a reason 😭 Maybe it’s just a culture thing in Europe (Hungary specifically), but here we mind our fucking business. The reason why a lot of women don't wear a loose shirt is because its really hard to exercise when your boobs are loose and jiggling about lol. The weight of them actually pulls on your skin and it kind of hurts. That's why you need to wear a sports bra. But wearing 2 layers (sports bra and shirt) makes you really hot, so they end up wearing just a bra. It's not because they want to show their stomach lol. (Well maybe some do, I'm just saying why sports bras are preferred for some women.) ​@@johnm3419Women in general are more sensitive to temperature changes because of hormones, muscle/fat composition, and poorer circulation. Our cores are inherently warmer than the rest of our body land our extremities aren't. It's still hotter to wear two layers even if the outer layer is really light because of our boobs (which are mostly fat and therefor store more heat) on our chest and the type of fabric needed to hold them down (so they don't also hurt) is usually not that breathable. Even vented sports bras. It's just more comfortable for some women not to bother with extra layers. And the shirts with built in bras suck. I've never found one that provided enough support, and mine aren't even that big.

Applying that to this situation, all I can think to do is to either 1) ask ladies to dress a bit more modestly but given what you and the OP have said, this is not necessarily a viable option; 2) separate men’s and women’s gym facilities. Are there really any other options? I don’t think that telling guys not to be creepy is gonna work. Firstly, creepy differs from person to person and given the specific circumstances. Debating clothing is a pointless conversation. People wear what they want to wear for the reasons they have. The problem for women, especially in a gym, i worked for golds almost a year before the military, is EVERY SINGLE MAN thinks the woman with the shortest shorts, and tightest top wore that shit JUST for them lol. Thats the problem. Its not 1 or 2 men that will approach, even CORNER these women, making them extremely uncomfortable and feel like if they dont respond as if they are interested, they might be murdered, its almost ALL of them. So, people constantly talking about this subject as if women need to just admit they are looking sexy so men gawk at them is harmful. It gives impressionable men the idea that yes, women are dressed to provoke me, when i see it, its okay for me to respond because they know they are provoking me. Thats the wrong mind frame to have on this subject. The best mind set is people wear what they want to wear. If it makes you uncomfortable look away, move to a different machine, if what they wear makes you feel like approaching them out of the blue, evaluate why, then seek therapy. He made multiple lengthy videos about how he spends 9 hours a day answering emails instead of working on a game that he was being paid $3,000 a month to work on. Lots of old drama on that one, but it’s gotten a lot creepier even before this. Creep shotting fellow students, who are “18” in the thousand year old dragon maiden way, was always a game mechanic. Hey Omni, not a woman but femboy-passing and dress like that to work out, and I have a few non-attention-seeking reasons to do so that women might have as well. I have ADHD and sensory processing issues, it's really distracting and uncomfortable to have the fabric moving and rubbing so much against me, so it's better if it's very tight so it doesn't move much. Sometimes when I move in a way that splits my legs and cheeks too much, it makes my pants give me a wedgie and not only is it considered rude to pull the wedgie out, but then also sometimes if my butt is too sweaty then the feeling of my wet cheeks rubbing together while moving is uncomfortable and distracting too, so I prefer to leave the wedgie in and trust and hope that people will be polite and leave me alone. Being asexual might have something to do with it too, I never see my body in a hot light, it's just a body, sometimes I just need to feel cute and presentable enough to go outside, I don't dress for others, I don't think about what message people might take when they look at me or my clothes. Some people do want to show off, but lot of people like to show off their body or how clothes look on their body without it being in a hot way, they're only trying to show the gains/cuteness/coolness/stylishness/beauty/etc, not the hotness, I know for a lot of women it's like that, too many people just see women and immediately just look at them in a hot light with no consideration for any other way they might prefer to be seen in. Tight clothes also keep my phone from falling off when I'm moving, unlike the loose stuff, also, too many of the loose gym shorts and pants have super tight elastic waistbands, making them too uncomfortable to wear, the tight stuff tends to be more comfortable in that regard.

The point about sports bras doesn't make sense to me. As a woman, I HAVE to wear a tight sports bra. Even going down stairs without a bra hurts. And to me it doesn't make a difference if I wear a tank top over my sports bra or not because generally, those bras cover cleavages so a little stomach isn't that much of a deal. It's the same as wearing a crop top t-shirt. I get the thing about SUPER tight pants but wearing sth that's as tight as leggings is completely normal. I've seen men wear tight leggings and tank tops to the gym without it being seen as weird but there could be cultural differences because I'm from Europe so seeing an exposed midriff be described as porn-level genuinely confuses me...

Regarding the gym clothes, a big factor that destiny seems to be missing or ignoring is comfort. I think its feasible to say that the closer to your birthday suit you are, the more physically comfortable you'll be, which is why a lot of work out stuff is scant and tight even for men. I go to a climbing gym and while leggings and cropped sports tops for women are common what's even more common for men is going shirtless which obviously women aren't socially permitted to do. I'd also argue going shirtless provides negligible functional benefits aside from freedom to sweat. You don't see women complaining about that though. Just seems like a self control thing. If you mind your own business who cares what others wear at the gym

As a person in the military and someone who works with agencies (like the NSA for example), we will not be paid at all until the Federal Budget is resolved. This is not a good thing at all because we need the money for all the bills, especially rent. So in this case we won't have any money for the time being if the shut down happens. We obviously will get back-paid eventually. As for military, we still have to work even though we are not getting paid while agencies can sleep at home. Lastly, smaller agency like the TSA will not get back-paid, so many of them won't show up to work which can very likely cause flight delays and cancellations. I just honestly hate Government shut downs The positive thing is certain landlords and banks will assist people that work for the govt, so I can thankfully be assisted by USAA for example.

Oftentimes they just do it because it makes them feel cute/desirable, which gives them self esteem and helps them stay motivated for their workout. The difference is the choice is about them and their own state of mind, not about you and yours.

My friend worked for TSA while the major shutdown was happening. It was not a 1+ month paid vacation, and they could not use PTO during that time. Thankfully, they lived with their family and didn't have to pay rent. For people who don't know, basically, the government needs to figure out the direction of their yearly spending (which they never keep to, but that's not the point). They don't have money for that year to pay with until they sign a bill that says how much they can have for the year across all employees, so all of the pay is shut off and set to backpay. The way it ends is a majority agrees on a budget for the year or an extension (very common) BUT sometimes Congress members will refuse an extension to keep the pressure on to try and force an agreement but punishing the rest of the US. We'll have to see what happens this year. The clock is ticking though, with only a few days before October, 1st.

I'm lucky in a lot of ways in that I get Healthcare, but I have 3 autoimmune diseases and I'm barely covered. Still some is better than none, and that's essentially the only reason I have the job I do. I also work for a college, so I'm not one of the unfortunate people who has to shut down work. I think a big thing with men's vs women's clothing in a gym, is how fat distribution is different for women compared to men. simply put, Men don't have as much fat on their breast and hips, and trust me, even with A cups, exercising without some tight clothing (like a good, fitting sports bra) will hurt immensely. If you then put extra loose clothing ON TOP of the form fitting clothing, you will sweat more, in general get quite hot, and all that sweat will gather in the tight clothing. For most men, they don't need to worry about breast tissue moving in painful ways, and thus can wear very loose clothing, that doesn't get in the way and is quite airy. In my personal stance, I think atleast shorts should be required in a gym (and since shorts are worn so much outside nowadays, they are fine in a place like a gym) and honestly, with how hot it can get especially in summer sometimes, I think it should also be fine for men to exercise without a shirt so they can cool down, it's a gym, no need to be weird about seeing someone's stomach. But the idea that women can be comfortable in the exact same outfits men like to exercise in, and vice versa is absolutely absurd
