How has been with the ports? No issues due to covid?

@@mitkindiamond We didn’t have any issues with covid. We followed all the local covid rules and regulations and that was it. We did pull into all the Mexican Riviera ports that we paid for and also went on cool excursions. The covid protocols on the ship was awesome with excellent crew members. My wife and I tested Negative before embarking and also Tested Negative after the trip.

We sailed the Panorama on Sept 4, 2021. The ship was amazing, and the staff was incredible. The only down side was that we could not stop in Cabo due to weather.

I just got back from a New Years Eve cruise on Carnival today 01/04/2022. The food in the dining room was delicious but the food at the buffet on the Lido deck was garbage!

I agree with the amazing staff Carnival has. Now what I’m curious to know is this: If one pre-pays the gratuities (yes at time of booking or with ample time before the sailing date), does Carnival make the cabin steward aware that those assigned guests have already prepaid for gratuities so to make extra sure they receive banging customer service? Because we have also waited to pay for gratuities until the last night of the cruise and have noticed a dip in the level of excellent service. Let me rephrase: in our experience, if we “PRE-Pay” gratuities, we have received EXCELLENT service 🤩😎. The times we have paid gratuities at the end of the cruise, the steward service has been meh 😒. So we want to know if Carnival shares that information with the steward prior to embarkation? 🤔

Rule of thumb never prepay tip as ur stewards only get a portion of it. Bring $5 and $10 ‘s and tip manually , they’ll love u

My family and I are currently on the New Year’s Panorama cruise! The ship left on 12/3121. There have been no problems on the voyage we were able to stop in all ports including two days in Cabo San Lucas. Lee the CD was awesome it’s a great time to cruise right now because of less people on board. Take advantage of it as long as you are vaccinated! They were only 2600 passengers not including the crew on board!

It may be that the text Feature is not available until you were on board. Depending on the cruise line you may have to pay for it. For example Royal Caribbean charges a small fee for it. It will be available if you need some assistance go to the Internet café and they can help you.

We always recommend a passport but you can check with Carnival or your travel agent to make sure because your situation may be different from ours.
