G'day guys, enjoy your videos, thank you. You might be interested at 3:15 where you say "that looks like a really, really old ship" she is currently Oriental Dragon. She was the third build of the original three Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (now Royal Caribbean International) ships - Sun Viking (1972). The other two were Song of Norway (1970) and Nordic Prince (1971). At 3:19 where you say "so does that one there" she is currently Leisure World. She was the third build of the original three Norwegian Caribbean Cruise Line (now Norwegian Cruise Line) ships - Skyward (1969). The other two were Sunward (1966) and Starward (1968). So from the balcony of a great example of where RCI and cruise ships are today you are looking at two of the ships that helped create the modern cruise industry of today with cruise lines that are both still in business.

In Malaya, in 1964, our flat was near a new fangled, newly introduced supermarket with an ice cream soda cafe above called The Dreamboat. A friend of my parent's came to visit and we took him to see it. Unused to automatic doors he nearly fell head first into the supermarket, saved at the last minute by my Dad. Goes to show how things evolve😂

The giant hole David referred to was probably a monsoon drain. My 3 year old brother fell into one( I was so disgusted) I had to drag him home and he had most inoculations inown to man to prevent the deseaes that could be a result of this encounter 🎉

We did the upside down house in Thailand was a good laugh but I defiantly preferred the 3D museum :D although I do love that street art 😍😮 we are sailing to Philippines next year & Singapore so it should be good gutted they pulled Hong Kong especially with it being next year :-/ but never minds lol still super excited

I did Quatum of the Seas in November out of Singapore and had to book and pay for the North Star which was fine.Sailed in Asia on Quantum of the Seas a few ago and the line up when things were free was sometimes over 4 hours in the heat! The charge is a crowd control measure in Asia because the cruises a short and they find in hard to accommodate all passengers on North Star.

Seeing as cruise ships have been rendered useless by this coronavirus, why not use them as mobile quarantine stations throughout the world with proper land-based health procedures to contain the spread. Govt's can pay the cruise companies for use of their ships thus avoiding more disease spread through the general public.
